Description
Three days of historical crafts experience in the beautiful hills of Mid Wales. When you arrive you will be given a pack, made for you to open, containing everything you will need for your crafts experience, and including tools for you to take home with you. Over the three days (five workshops) you will craft your own spindle whorl, learn historic braiding, learn how to set up and weave backstrap with a rigid heddle, hand stitch your own belt bag, and learn how to spin wool on a spindle, or learn how to spin with a distaff if you already spin yarn. We have a beautiful farm cottage and a cabin on site that may be available for you to book. Lunch breaks are between 12.30pm - 1.30pm Please bring along packed lunches. The workshop may have others attending, or might be just yourself. If you would prefer to be one to one please message me.

Hi, I'm Lea! I live in the hills in Mid Wales, here at our creative retreat centre, with a holiday cottage, cabin, pod and gypsy caravan for guests to stay in. I teach creative yarn spinning, beginners spinning, drop spindle, wet felting, creative crochet & knitting, recycled textiles, & wild weaving. I teach personal classes and group retreats.
