I attended one of Nicole’s beginner classes in 2019 which reignited my interest in crochet. Since then I have attended the crochet along classes and recently a Christmas class, all of which I have thoroughly enjoyed. I have completed some lovely projects. Nicole is so helpful and I have met lovely like-minded people at these sessions. Really recommend.
I had a one to one session with Nicole at her lovely home. In the two hour class I learnt how to read a pattern and many stitches. Nicole is a very good teacher and I would love to go on to learn more at her sessions.
Learning to crochet was on my bucket list, I had never picked up a crochet hook until I attended Nicole’s beginners class, and thanks to her I have found a new hobby I love. Without her calm patience I would have given up, instead, I have, over the course of about three years, progressed from making a rather scrappy wonky coaster to being confident enough create a range of increasingly challenging projects and intend to carry on crocheting as long as I can.
The atmosphere in her classes is always relaxed, everyone is friendly and I have met some lovely ladies. I always look forward to the lessons and drop in sessions.
Thanks again Nicole for your encouragement. !!Keep Crocheting!!
Nicole is a wonderful and patient teacher. After spending 2 hours with her, I am now confident enough to try so many more patterns. I left my lesson eager to get home and put into practice what I had learnt.
Nicole is so patient at teaching and her classes are lovely to attend.
It is lovely to meet with a small group of like minded ladies with free flowing tea and coffee!
I would not hesitate to recommend her classes to anyone.
Response from Just My Cup Of Crochet:Thank you Carrie. I hope your mum likes her shawl. I’ll look forward to seeing you in the new year! 😊
I really enjoyed my 1 to 1 crochet lesson with Nicole - I was a complete beginner and she explained the stitches etc very clearly. She was very patient and gave me time to correct my own mistakes which made learning faster :-) and she kept the tea flowing!
Response from Just My Cup Of Crochet:Thank you so much Lucy, It was lovely to meet you. You picked up crochet very well and I’m sure you’ll be making lots of beautiful items in no time. 😊
Nicole was very welcoming and patient and I felt I learnt a lot on the first lesson, so much so that I can’t wait to carry on to the next stage.
A really good course, Nicole is very knowledgable and makes the course interesting and informative. At the same time the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly so you’re not afraid to ask her questions, I love the way she can explain the correct and simplest way to do something and help put you on the right track when things don’t seem to be working out quite right! You come away feeling you’ve accomplished something, as well as confident and ready to have a go all on your own 😊
I've never crocheted before but Nicole has explained the basics clearly and patiently and after a few lessons I now know a variety of techniques and stitches. The classes take place in Nicole's lovely conservatory around a large dining table with comfy seats. The hot drinks and biscuits are most welcome. The printed notes with step by step pictures are very useful to recap the lesson when back home and Nicole is happy to answer any questions if we get stuck finishing our project.
I had not crocheted for many years and could remember the basics but that was about it. Nicole is a fantastic teacher. Patience of a saint! There were about 8 of us, all needing help along the way. Nicole is very knowledgeable and gives you back your confidence and understanding about the stitches.
Nicole also sells a variety of wool too which is very helpful. This class is done in her home and there is a warm and friendly welcome of tea and biscuits 😃
I highly recommend her if like me you are in need of a brush up!
I had wanted to learn to crochet for sometime and had failed miserably trying to learn from books and videos. I saw this class and thought I would give it a go. Nicole was really welcoming making me feel relaxed and confident straight away. She was very patient and kind as well as being a great host. I learnt the basics and came away feeling that I can actually crochet. Since attending her class I have not stopped and have just completed my first baby blanket. I have also attended another class with Nicole and will be going to more. I think you could say I'm well and truly hooked! I cannot recommend highly enough.
Nicole is an excellent teacher and explains things really clearly. The mandala involves lots of different stitches so it takes a while but the pace is just right and Nicole gives lots of help and advice as we go along. A small group size means you get lots of individual attention. She also inspires us with the amazing crocheting she does herself! A really enjoyable way to spend a few hours and definitely worth the cost. Plus you get free tea and biscuits! Lovely!
Nicole is a great teacher....very patient and knowledgeable. The classes are taught in her home which is very comfortable and with good lighting. Tea and biscuits are in full supply and it is nice to make new friends.
I went to the first class as a complete novice and came away knowing several stitches.
I am now "hooked" and have signed up to more of Nicole's classes. They are very friendly and relaxed.
I would highly recommend these classes for all levels.
