Description
Don’t be put off if you’ve tried to crochet and following a book or YouTube hasn’t worked for you - I can help! This 1 to 1 crochet lesson is for 2 x 2 hours and for absolute beginners onward. If you already crochet but just need a little help to progress I can help you with that! Reading patterns, changing colours, working in a round - problem solving any issues you have with your crochet. Want to start a new more advanced pattern and need some guidance to begin? I’m happy to help you work on whatever you’d like. In the absolute beginners class, you will learn the basics of crochet. We start with slip knot, chain, then double crochet and treble crochet. We discuss the difference between uk/usa terms and how to spot what the pattern is written in. We will look at yarn and hook information and I can answer any questions you have as we go. You’ll also get a hook and 300g of acrylic yarn to take home. In the 2nd lesson, we trouble shoot from lesson 1, then go on to magic ring, increasing, decreasing and working in a round. We will then progress onto starting a coaster! If you have a group of friends that would like a class together I can do a discount depending on how many people you’d like to attend (discount for 3+). You can all work on separate patterns or work together on a pattern. Feel free to message and let me know, what you'd like to do and we can arrange accordingly. I (Nicole) have been crocheting for over 11 years and teaching for over 4 years. I love to crochet and really love teaching crochet. Times and days can be flexible so together we can arrange a convenient time :- Monday - Friday -- 10:30am - 7pm Saturdays & Sunday -- 11am - 4:30pm I can possibly do outside these times - just send me a message and we can arrange times. It also doesn’t have to be a beginners lesson, we can do a recap, beginners plus lesson or just about anything you’d like to learn to crochet. I can help with this too, just let me know your requirements. I’m very flexible and can do mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
