About the Course
The ColourWheel Art courses are held in the lovely venue of West Town Farm In Ide. There are 3 hour morning and afternoon classes on a Tuesday to fit in with student’s schedules.
ColourWheel art classes for adults are part-time and have been designed for beginners and improvers. Drawing inspiration from nature and the rich colour wheel of life we will teach you the techniques you need to produce beautiful works of art. If you think you can’t draw you‘re wrong, you just need to be shown how. Giving you the right tools and skills you will be on your way to producing work you never thought you could.
Over the 14 weeks you will be instructed how to use different paint materials to the best effect. Sketching and working with different mediums depending on the projects you are working on. You will be guided gently and taught by our wonderful and encouraging tutor, Chloe, an experienced working artist and teacher. You will explore your creativity and produce paintings and drawings you will be proud to show others.
Our courses are flexible and allow improvers or those who have some art skills under their belts to build on what they already know and move forward to the next steps in their creative journey.
Myself, Joanne, the Course Co-ordinator will attend each lesson assisting Chloe to concentrate solely on what she does best, teaching you how to draw and paint.

This course has exceeded my expectations in every way. I have completed two terms and plan to return in the autumn. It has been lovely to learn and achieve in a relaxed and friendly environment. Our teacher Chloe has encouraged us to develop our own strengths and styles in a very supportive atmosphere and Joanne does a great job looking after us throughout, plus providing us with fabulous refreshments and keeps the log burner going!!!

Response from Colour Wheel Exeter Ltd:Thank you very much Tina for your kind words and we both look forward to seeing you for your catch up classes in May and you joining us again in September.
I have just finished my second term with ColourWheel and have signed up for another.
I look forward to every Tuesday and am never disappointed. I learn something new every week and am constantly surprised at what I can achieve with the right guidance and support.
Joanne and Chloe work incredibly hard to create a perfect environment for relaxed learning.
Whatever stress is going on in my work and home life I find it starts to disappear as soon as I start my drive over to Ide. I find the whole experience immersive and restorative.
To anyone who is thinking about doing the course I would say 'just do it', you won't be disappointed.
Money very well spent. Lovely, friendly people, everything provided and a beautiful venue. What more could you ask for?
