Come and join us for a fun filled day of safe candle making. Making handmade gifts such as candles is a rewarding and fun skill for all abilities. Save yourself a fortune by learning how to make your own soy wax poured candles either for pleasure or why not sell on at local craft fairs.
Once you have discovered the many benefits of soy candles you will never look back. You will be able to produce high quality products that are non-toxic, biodegradable and environmentally friendly. These soy candles are clean burning candles that produce little to no soot. During the day you will use high quality soy wax that is derived from oil refining (like paraffin) but comes from a naturally grown renewable resource, the soya bean. You will have the opportunity to sample a variety of fragrance oils and colours when making your candles.
Learn all about:
Health & Safety
Understanding wicks and waxes
Colour and fragrance correctly
Packaging and decoration tips and techniques
In the lesson you will make 2 candles as well as wax melts and all of your wonderful creations go home with you
What's included in the price?
All tools and materials are included in the course fee, although I would recommend that you wear either an apron to protect your clothes, or wear old clothes that you are not bothered if you splat a little wax on.
