About the Course
Are you a member of a craft group? Would you enjoy a 2 hour book binding workshop?
We can bring our workshop to you. Learn how to stitch, bind and cover your own hand bound hardback - using the same technique we use on all our hand bound print books.
We can travel throughout Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Worcestershire. All you need is roughly 6 - 16 people and enough tables and chairs for everyone.
We bring all equipment and materials with us. We describe this workshop as suitable for comfortable crafters. It involves a little sewing and some gluing, and full step by step instructions are given by experienced tutor Lorna.
Price shown is an approximate cost per person, depending on group size. Please get in touch to learn more.
There are plenty of opportunities to ask questions, and we'll explain the history of the technique you are using as we go along. It all makes for a thoroughly relaxed and enjoyable session.

I had enormous fun doing this course recently. Lorna is an absolute delight and explained the process of book making very well. I am astonished by how professional my book looks - it doesn’t even look handmade :)
I would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone looking to learn this craft.
