During this workshop you'll create unique swirling patterns with brightly coloured marbling inks on a variety of papers and cards. These will act as a cover for a hand bound book, we'll be using Japanese stab binding techniques to create books with a variety of decorative stitching. You will leave the workshop with at least one book. This workshop will take place in Butlers at Kirkstall Forge. There's a train station on site and Kirkstall Forge wants to encourage sustainability, but if you'd like a parking space let me know and we can get one arranged. The cafe sadly isn't open during workshops but do feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks. Course conditions: The workshop needs minimum numbers to run. In the unlikely event it doesn't meet this number, the workshop may be cancelled at short notice and you will be entitled to a full refund. There will be hand sanitiser available and spaces will be limited. If you feel unwell, have symptoms of covid or have been in contact with anyone who has please let me know so you can be moved onto a future session. If we go into another lockdown this workshop will be postponed until a safe date. Please don't arrive more than 10 minutes prior to the workshop unless previously discussed.
