Learn how to get started and the basics of Tunisian simple stitch to make your own two-tone Tunisian crocheted cushion cover. Tunisian crochet or Afghan crochet is a type of crochet that uses an elongated hook. It is sometimes considered to be a mixture of crochet and knitting, as such some similar techniques and terms are applicable, however fabulous new stitches, effects and fabrics can also be created. Skill Level: Suitable for beginners to Tunisian crochet BUT YOU DO NEED TO BE ABLE TO CROCHET THE BASIC CHAIN AND DOUBLE CROCHET STITCH.
