Duration: 6 week course, 1 session per week each lasting 2 hours
The dates shown on this course availability is the date of the first session. Each session will run on the same time and day each week for the following 5 weeks.
This course teaches an introduction to crochet. The way you'll learn will mean that you'll finish with two projects to keep as well as the confidence to move on to projects of your own. During the course we will cover starting off, different stitches, placements and directions, changing colour fastening off, edging as well as reading crochet patterns and abbreviations. The way I teach beginners always starts with a granny square which you'll grow into your very own afghan blanket. The perfect way to learn and practice basics and find your tension. We'll also do some work on amigurumi style crochet (tight, shaped double crochet good for making dolls/toys).
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
All included in the cost of your course:

I did this course it was amazing.
I didn’t think I would be able to crochet as I didn’t have a clue.
Natasha was brilliant she had so much patience with us all.
I was sad when the course finished.
I've done various courses with Ray's Room, both online and in person. I have learnt a lot and produced some lovely things which I am very proud of. Natasha is a calm and patient teacher, nothing is too much trouble, everything is clearly explained and we all have fun. I highly recommend the courses.
Amazing course - the tutor was a font of knowledge! Calm, welcoming, took her time to make sure everyone could follow next steps and managed to work at different places tailored to each attendee so every person got the most out of each session. Could not recommend this course more! If you're looking for a great course that will help you with crochet, this is it. You won't find better and it's great value for money too!
I came to these crochet classes already able to crochet the basic stitches, but with Natasha's guidance I was able to enhance my skills and can now read patterns, and undertake any project in crochet. So these classes are NOT just for beginners: use them to improve your ability, give you the confidence to learn some new techniques, and even get to know new people
I had always wanted to learn how to crochet but was lacking the skills needed. Then I attended Tash's lessons. She is an amazing teacher. Extremely passionate, about what she does, but also super patient. Always happy to help and repeat what she has just said and to sit with you and show one on one how to complete the instructions just given.
This course has been absolutely amazing for developing my (previously non existent!) crochet skills.
Natasha is a wonderful teacher and all round lovely person and I can’t thank her enough for giving me this skill which, over the last three years, has provided me with untold hours of blissful crafting and yarny goodness :-)
Absolutely loved this course. I could never get the hang of crochet watching YouTube videos on repeat but Tash was able to explain & show the crochet so easily that I was able to pick it up. I’ve since crocheted sooooo many things thanks to Tash’s guidance.
