About the Course
Our 2 and 3 day courses are suitable for complete beginners as well as those with more experience who would like to learn new techniques or simple brush up on existing skills. The 2 and 3 day courses have a maximum capacity of 8 students and are taught by award winning jewellery designers Jesa & Al Marshall offering a fantastic student teacher ratio.
These weekends are designed to be as flexible as possible, allowing you to (with help!) create your own designs and work on your own project at your own pace. We don’t tell you what you have to make, within time limits you are free to make whatever you like and will be guided through the techniques as you go! As these courses are 2 or 3 days long you will have time to cover the basic techniques as well as experimenting with some of the more advanced techniques such as stone setting, acid etching, casting….its endless!!!
The days run from 10am - 5pm and include a well earned lunch!
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

I was on a course last weekend, and made a beautiful silver spinner ring - with lots of help from Jesa and Al, who are brilliant teachers and lovely caring people. I learned a lot of new techniques and conquered my fear of soldering. It was hard work, but great fun, kept going with endless cups of tea and coffee, chocolate cake to die for, a delicious lunch, and not forgetting laughter all along the way. All in a beautiful countryside setting - what more could you want?
