I have always enjoyed making things and teaching others so both the woodwork and upholstery workshops are a joy. I make footstools to commission, teach weekly upholstery classes and run the one day workshops once a month. Everyone enjoys coming to the classes and workshops and it's a lovely space in a countryside setting.

"Absolute fabulous! My son & his friend did this course & they loved it. They were buzzing afterwards & were so proud of the shoe rack & outdoor planter they made. Sue was so warm & welcoming & provided a perfect mix of tuition & independence. We cannot wait to go back "

"I enjoyed the 1 day upholstery course. Sue is very welcoming and ensures that everyone goes at their pace but keeps the day on course. It was a small group which made for a friendly and helpful atmosphere to the whole day. I would definitely recommend this course and may well do another one under Sue's tutelage. "

"The woodworking for beginners course was absolutely fantastic! We covered so much during the day and I learnt so much whilst making my planter from scratch. It has given me a real enthusiasm to now try other projects going forwards. The group was really nice and friendly and Sue kept us fed and watered throughout the day! I truly enjoyable experience which I would strongly recommend to anyone thinking of tipping their toes into the wood making arena. "
