"I had a wonderful day with Bernie learning new techniques with polymer. She has a wealth of experience and is very happy to share those essential tips and techniques which take your work from passable to magnificient! Although Bernie had planned our session from our early discussions, she was also happy to follow up a particular interests as I have been working with clay for a while now - we covered mica shift and how to use an extruder properly (I am never making bullseye cane any other way!), natasha canes and finishing techniques - and all with a sense of fun and exploration together. Lunch was delicious homemade soup and bread - I can't recommend a day with Bernie more highly - thank you for a real treat of a day!"

"What a delightful and creative day we had Maggie, and thank you so much for your review, so very kind. So glad your hubby picked up on something you wanted to do! It was fun sharing those things with you, as you have great aptitude for polymer clay. I am looking forward to seeing your future projects and do send me some photos please :) Just playing around with different designs and coming up with something brand new was a surprise too!! LOL I hope you will remember everything, as you know you just have to ask!! Thanks again and God bless Bernadette"

"I cannot recommend this course enough. Bernadette is a fabulous tutor, she is very patient and has great knowledge and talent. Bernadette guides you to create unique and professional look jewellery in the colours of your choice. I feel truly inspired following my day with Bernadette. Her work is stunning, the pieces she had on display were beautiful. I cannot wait to create more pieces. Thank you for being such an inspiration and for helping me to create something that I feel very proud of. Truly wonderful."

"Thank you, Bernadette. I thoroughly enjoyed my creative day with you! I was chuffed with the first set of beads I made. But couldn't believe how professionally complex the beads had become by the end of the day! I can't wait to try out these new skills - I just hope I can remember all the steps! I would thoroughly recommend Bernadette and this course to anyone who is even vaguely interested - I guarantee you'll be hooked by the end! p.s. Thanks also for the yummy soup and bread."

Gillian Rainer reviewed: Handmade canes, beads and jewellery from Polymer clay in Bedfordshire.

"I had a very enjoyable and relaxed day and Bernadette was a very patient teacher, as I was a beginner using polymer clay. I anticipated the process to be very complicated and was amazed to find how easy it was to produce a variety of canes and turn these into my beads. I soon realised that the only limit was my imagination.I am now looking forward to practicing cane and bead making and would certainly attend an another day with Bernadette to improve and expand my skill base. I can highly recommend Bernadette's home made soup and fresh bread."

Treasunique responded:

"Oh Gillian you are so kind!! Thank you for sharing such an enjoyable day with me, so happy you found it easier than expected. It was great to see how confident you were when the canes were ready to turn into beads and of your own compilation. I would be very happy to see you on a return visit (ChuffChuff) LOL :)"

Maureen Stephens reviewed: Handmade canes, beads and jewellery from Polymer clay in Bedfordshire.

"One of the most enjoyable days I have had for a long time. I do a little bit of polymer clay work but always wanted to learn about making canes and learnt so much. Bernadette was a joy to spend the day with as she is passionate about her craft and loves sharing her knowledge. She was able to adapt the day to my needs, going at a comfortable pace but stretching me as well which was perfect. Cannot recommend this course more highly for both beginners and experienced people. I came away with an exquisite set of beads that I am wearing with great pride. Thank you Bernadette."

Treasunique responded:

"Bless you Maureen, what a lovely review, so kind of you, and hope this is a launch into new arenas of creativity for you."

"We were looking for a surprise activity for a friend - it was a surprise for her and we needed to adapt times and content of course a little to fit it round everyone. Bernadette was amazingly helpful in working with us to create a fun, chatty day where we made some amazing colourful jewellery - I cannot believe i had it in me! She is encouraging and cajoling - perfect mix to make sure everyone ends up feeling that they have achieved something truly creative. Bravo and can whole hardheartedly recommend."

Also for all your willingness to be adventurous in a totally unaccustomed medium!! Great results all round ladies! And hope to see you all again in your neck of the woods, sometime in the future!"

"Thank you sooo much to Bernadette for a fabulous day making jewellery. I had a brilliant day and was made to feel very welcome. I was a complete beginner so Bernadette guided me through lots of different techniques of making the canes and I produced a beautiful bead necklace with matching earrings. As well as taking home my new jewellery, I was also able to keep the extra canes that I had made as well as a few other little freebies. I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in jewellery or clay or both! Thanks again Bernadette x"
