Dina Jung reviewed: Hurdle making day course

"Excellent hurdle making course. Really well prepared, planned and taught. With two tutors there was plenty of attention and help. I had to leave early because of the hot weather but this in no way stopped me enjoying the course and I came away with exactly what I wanted. Lovely lunch, great conversation and really appropriate surroundings. Could you arrange other courses such as willow sculptures, garden supports, pizza oven making, rustic chair making, pewter casting in cuttlefish, etc..? I am sure there would be a demand. Thank you."

Tiny Homes Holidays responded:

"Thank you for your kind review Dina and tips for future courses!"

Jane Leigh reviewed: Creating Art with Sea Glass and Sea Treasures

"The Sea-glass workshop was fantastic! The venue was very beautiful and tranquil and the wood burner made it cosy in the studio. The refreshments were home cooked and delicious and served beautifully. Shanine was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions and her enthusiasm was infectious ! Shanine was really helpful and positive in her instruction and we were provided with loads of materials to use and encouraged to experiment. We were all so pleased with our pictures and left with them framed . Thank you so much for a fabulous day! I will certainly be making more pictures and searching the beaches for treasures 😊"

Helen Sykes reviewed: Creating Art with Sea Glass and Sea Treasures

"I absolutely loved the one day Sea Glass Workshop with Seacycle Studio which I attended on 6 March. Lovely group of fellow "artists" and Shanine was lovely. Knowledgeable, welcoming and entertaining. And the lunch! Well, white bean soup was nutritious as well as delicious, and it was accompanied by salads, cheesy toasted breads, crudites and a multitude of home made, delicious cakes and brownies. Everyone left with a fabulous piece of artwork - even me, and I am renowned for not liking what I have made at the end of a craft workshop! All in all a very enjoyable day, and great value for money. Just wish I had been able to book one of the lodges - they looked really interesting . . . maybe next time :-)"

Tiny Homes Holidays responded:

"Thank you so much for your kind review Helen, you have made our day!"

Mike Ballard reviewed: Creating Art with Sea Glass and Sea Treasures

"The setting for the Sea Glass Workshop with Seacycle Studio was beautiful and tranquil, the hospitality, refreshments and lunch wonderful. Having run training courses myself, I know what it is like when you run one for the first time. Shanine, the tutor, was excellent in her knowledge and skill. She was full of encouragement and her enthusiasm quickly spread to us. I am really pleased with my resulting piece which has already been much admired and complimented on. I hope they run it again as I would highly recommend it. Thanks Shanine and Helen"

Tiny Homes Holidays responded:

"Than k you so much Mike!"

JePy reviewed: Modern Macrame - residential workshops

"Modern macrame 2 day course with Isabella was OK. Isabella was fabulous, friendly and a good teacher, but the name of the course was misleading "Modern" eluded that we would learn something different than the basic macrame knots and there is nothing 'modern' about a plant hanger or wall hanging. The venue was great, super, excellent!! - plenty of space, drinks and cakes."

Tiny Homes Holidays responded:

"I'm surprised you found the description misleading as it clearly states "make a plant holder and an iconic wall hanging" as the projects! Isabella is taking Macrame to new frontiers and has we believe a modern touch ... but you have to start somewhere and both these items are now to be found in many contemporary interior shops!"

Ceri Bailey reviewed: Make a wooden spoon from scratch

"Amazing time spoon carving and staying at the tiny homes! Paul was a fab teacher, very patient and helped us all to come away with fantastic and beautiful spoons (much better than we thought we could have done at the beginning of the day!) Highly recommend to both newcomers to carving/whittling and also those with experience as he catered for all! The tiny homes themselves are excellent, eco living but with all the home comforts and Helen and Frazer make the stay wonderful!"

Debby Robinson reviewed: Make a bra and knickers set

"An amazing course. Who would have guessed? We all left with real, wearable bespoke lingerie that we'd made ourselves! Eat your heart out M&S. Also left several pounds heavier after the scrumptious homemade goodies which kept us going all weekend. Thank you Helen but more pickled onions & fewer chocolate brownies next time please..."

Ceri Bailey reviewed: Make Christmas

"This was an amazing weekend! Everything was well planned out, Mrs B and Sharon were great teachers, we came home with professional looking things that we never thought we could have made! Helen and Frazer were on hand to help out with any problems we had with our tiny home (we didnt have any, it was perfect!) and the snacks and lunches provided during the workshops were delicious! Would definitely recommend and will be going back again next year!"
