"I've just had the most fabulous craft weekend, learning the very basics of lacemaking under the careful supervision of the incredibly knowledgeable Tina, with technical input and plenty of cups of tea from her husband Stephen. There was so much to learn and take in, but Tina broke everything down into manageable chunks and made sure I understood each stage before moving on. I feel I have tried and understood enough in two days to have a good go at these techniques myself at home, knowing that I can book further sessions with Tina as my confidence, understanding and skill levels grow. I would recommend this course to anyone who is curious about making lace - the sense of achievement is huge. I'm hooked!"

"I attended this course last week and it was excellent. Tina was very patient and taught me enough techniques so I can complete the piece of lace that I was making by myself. At one point where I was totally stuck, Tina patiently undid my lace to a point where I could continue. I throughly recommend this course."

"The tutor, Tina, was well prepared and we were able to get started straight away. Firstly learning how to wind the bobbins correctly to learning a variety of stitches. "I attended the Honiton lace making course earlier this week. I had never made Honiton lace before and was very pleased to be able to complete the piece in the two days. Tina was very patient and even lent me the bobbins and a pillow so that I could use the correct equipment. Without her help I would never have been able to finish."
