At the current time it is good to carry on being creative and focusing on the present. So if you run into trouble with your lace and need any form of help, please get in touch with me (via;- 'contact a tutor') and also attach a picture and I will try and help.
These three days would be an ideal opportunity to relax and make lace, enjoying the company of like minded people. Come along and try your hand at one of the laces below, or work on your current project, or have help starting a new project. Alternatively, this would be an ideal time to begin learning a Lace Type that is new to you.

Why not come along and work on your existing project and have help/guidance with any problems that may occur, or have you always wanted to try one of the above many laces ?
Tina is willing to start you off with a new, or existing, lace technique. This will involve helping you to start, from the beginning, so that you know what to do and are in total control of your lace, with small sample pieces and gradually building up to you being able to work the pattern that you have envisaged doing. I am also holding other mixed & specialised workshops later in the year, but always very happy for you to bring your own lace to any of the workshops.
Beginners are always welcome and will commence with what is traditionally your first piece of lace. This will show the two stitches that are required for bobbin lace making. Once you can work these stitches, you will be able to move onto something more exciting. The different laces use these two stitches, along with different techniques to achieve the various effects & patterns, just like knitting.
A variety of lace techniques will be on offer at each workshop over the next few months, please contact me for more details and also happy for you to bring your current project to the session and work with help & guidance as required. Attending a class of this nature offers the chance to share tips and experiences that are not found in books, but only from the experience of numerous lace tutors that have guided me.
Tina has also mentored a student through Lace Guild 'Foundation Assessment' for Torchon Lace and is also willing to mentor anyone thinking of doing the Lace Guild Assessment.

I have been making Idrija Lace for sometime but was having difficulty understanding how to work the corners.
I booked a one-to-one day session yesterday with Tina to learn how to work the various corners. And I finally understand how to work them.
Tina is a great teacher and very knowledgeable about Lace.
I had a really great day and will definitely attend more workshops.
Response from Tina Pedrick Bobbin Lace Maker:Hi Sushma
Having recently attended one of Tina's workshops, I am thrilled to be 'up-and-running' again with my lace-making. Tina was able to assess my skill level and with her encouragement, patience and instruction I was able to embark on a piece I was keen to make. It was a most inspiring and uplifting day for me and I look forward to attending more of her classes.
Response from Tina Pedrick Bobbin Lace Maker:Hello Nan
I have just spent a very enjoyable day on one of Tina's workshops. She is a very knowledgeable and patient teacher and is incredibly keen for her pupils to enjoy their lace making and to progress their skills. This is my third workshop with her, they have all been good fun and I have learned a huge amount to give me the confidence to work on pieces by myself.
Response from Tina Pedrick Bobbin Lace Maker:Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It was great to see you. I am very pleased that you enjoyed both this workshop and the others you have attended. It's nice to know that my students enjoy coming and are wishing to carry on with this very versatile craft, along with keeping the craft alive.
I recently attended a three day workshop with Tina.
She was very helpful and patient. The piece of lace that I am working on grew under her tutelage.
I am looking forward to attending another course in the near future.
Response from Tina Pedrick Bobbin Lace Maker:It was a pleasure to guide you through your pattern, as well as seeing it emerge. I would love to see the finished piece. Looking forward to seeing you when you next attend a workshop.
We had a great weekend with Tina who is an excellent teacher. As complete beginners we were given a thorough over view of lace making from beginning bobbing winding through to a variety of stiches to enable us to practice at home. The course was relaxed and we were able to work at our own pace. Looking forward to returning in the future to enhance our skills.
Response from Tina Pedrick Bobbin Lace Maker:Good Morning to you both.
I attended the Honiton lace making course earlier this week.
I had never made Honiton lace before and was very pleased to be able to complete the piece in the two days.
Tina was very patient and even lent me the bobbins and a pillow so that I could use the correct equipment.
Without her help I would never have been able to finish.
Response from Tina Pedrick Bobbin Lace Maker:Hello Nicole
