Opened in August 2019, The Wolf Workshop is an artisan leatherwork studio. Owned and run by Pipa, the workshop was born from the love of craft and sharing knowledge.
Built on passion and love, that foundation is the core of the studio. But that belief shouldn't just be held to us, we want to share our knowledge and heart-felt love of craft with anyone who wishes to learn. We invite everyone to our classes, using our beautiful workshop space to create something incredible.
"A fabulous day of learning in a truly amazing venue. Although booked as a general introduction to leatherwork, Pipa was able to tweak the lessons to suit my particular interest in restoring historic military leather equipment. An amazing amount was packed into the day, hands-on and theory, and Pipa is clearly a gifted leatherworker as well as a natural teacher. An enjoyable, well paced day and so much learned. I’m booking a follow up day to focus more on areas aligned to my own particular goals and interests. "
"Both me and my friend really enjoyed Pippa's leatherwork course.
She went though all the basic techniques and a range of tools, to help us decide which ones we wanted to use, and gave us all the advice we needed to start working on our own projects.
I would definitely recommend this course to anyone looking to start leatherwork!"
The Wolf Workshop responded:
" Thankyou Emma! It was lovely to have you both in the studio. I'm looking forward to seeing what you make in the future!"
"I have enjoyed a packed leatherworking day with Pipa, her guinea pigs and cat. There was lots to cover in a day, from what leather is and is not, to working with its properties, tooling, dyeing and stitching. Pipa’s enthusiasm and expertise were shaped to work with what I wanted to get out of the day. Pipa was generous with her time and skills. As a complete beginner in this area the day worked really well as a introduction to all things with leather."
