Maker's bio

Classes are taught by Vanessa Miller & Tom Asquith in their workshop. Vanessa regularly teaches jewellery making across Birmingham, studied Jewellery & Silversmithing (HND) at The School of Jewellery BCU & returned as an Artist in Residence. Tom studied Applied Arts (BA) at Wolverhampton Uni & continued his training in Jewellery & Silversmithing at Bishopsland & has won many awards for his craft. He was Artist in Residence & Technician at The School of Jewellery BCU supporting student learning.

"Myself and my partner did the make a ring class for my birthday and had such a lovely day doing it. We were made to feel very comfortable handling the different tools and got a beautiful ring at the end of it. Vanessa was very patient and calm and even supplied me with a little present for my birthday! Would definitely recommend anyone to do this. "
