The Coppice Co. started in 2020 after Suz Williams finished her two year apprenticeship as a coppice worker and traditional craft maker. Since then she has been teaching traditional woodland crafts across the country. Her speciality is willow weaving, split hazel baskets and spoon carving.

Highly recommend!"

"I definitely recommend Suz's courses. I participated in a basket weaving workshop as a total beginner and came away with a basket that I like. Suz is a calming and knowledgeable teacher. The setting was also really nice; it was raining but we stayed dry and had delicious coffee :) "

"I had a wonderful day in the woods making a beautiful willow basket.
Suz was a calm and patient teacher, and ensured we created a basket to be proud of. The setting was magical and I came away with a feeling that I had stepped into a simpler world for a few hours. I highly recommend this course."
