"From basics to weaving my first tartan pattern all in one day, hands on is so much better than watching you tube vids. Get a fuller understanding of the loom and its foibles what does what and how to build a weave up. Bring a packed lunch this is a 6hr session. Ashleigh is very good and found the session enjoyable and easy going."
Tartan Caledonia responded:
"Glad you enjoyed the session if you need a hand with your loom on your first warp or tartan design just drop me a message via email."
"What a lovely introduction to the joy of weaving! The neat looms were set up ready to go so no time was wasted, after a brief introduction I was weaving from the get-go. Ashleigh took us through a range of weaving patterns meaning the day was packed with the opportunity to try different techniques. I left with a wonderful sampler as a reminder of the day that I’ve turned into a centrepiece for the table. What a great way to spend a day!"
Tartan Caledonia responded:
"Thank you for your wonderful feedback and you enjoyed you day weaving."
"I was surprised at how much we covered in just a few hours! Ashleigh is very organized and gets you weaving right away. It was a delightful day, and I came away with a lovely sampler of weaves."
Tartan Caledonia responded:
"Thank-you for attending the course. I hope you enjoyed you trip to Scotland and weaving inspires you to start your journey soon."
