I started picture framing as a retirement project and because I had lots of colleagues in the military who had their own mementos, signed prints etc and wanted them framed. I find framing quite therapeutic, taking a few materials and turning them into something beautiful, something I’d have on my wall. I like keeping the amount of framing I do to an enjoyable level and, having been an instructor in the past, feel that I can help bring some of that enjoyment to others.

"I had a brilliant time framing some embroidery with Ady and would recommend this course to anyone, I was very pleased with the result and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Ady's instruction was always clear and the day was well-structured with plenty of time to learn more and ask questions. Beforehand I was worried there might be noisy machinery but I need not have worried - the tools are manually or pedally operated, which makes for a nicely relaxing quiet environment. Attention to safety was good, and lunch and snacks were at just the right intervals."
