"This 1 day course is a great way to get your creativity flowing. We had a fantastic time designing, cutting and leading up our glass and Simon is such a welcoming and friendly host (he even provides endless cups of tea and delicious biscuits). If you’re looking for a ‘me’ day, this course is perfect. It offers a balance between creative therapy and thoroughly informed glass education - Simon is an expert in his field and has many inspirational pieces hanging in his studio to make you all envious. I want to thank Simon especially for offering up more time than he should have in the evening to ensure that everyone left having finished their light catchers. We are beyond grateful. I wish I could afford to do this every single weekend and look forward to picking up my finished piece."

"Thoroughly enjoyed this day long course and the introduction to making a stained glass panel. There were only two other friendly ladies on the day and we each created panels that were so different, and our own designs. Simon took time to explain and demonstrate the creative process in detail in a relaxed environment. I now have an even greater appreciation of the work and hours involved to make these special pieces as Simon does - he is a Master in his field. Would certainly recommend this course - you'll be delighted with your creation."

"Simon was very welcoming when I arrived for the course, he has a workshop with all the tools, equipment, books and a very wide range of glass to choose from. He helped when I needed help but also let me experiment with the glass creatively as much as I could as a beginner. I enjoyed the day experiencing a new craft with lots of tea and biscuits. I live a fair distance away so Simon kindly delivered my stained glass to me when he was in the area. I learnt a lot during the day about the process of making a piece of stained glass, had lots of tea and chats with the group and got to meet his lovely family. Thank you so much for this lovely experience, I look forward to the next one."

"I had a wonderful day on this course. Pre-course information and communication was excellent. Great workshop space, and supplied with plenty of teas and coffees throughout the day. Simon really encourages you to create and develop your own design and then miraculously helps you produce it. You get to experience every aspect of stained glass creation from cutting through to leading and soldering. Simon is patient, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his art and it was a privilege to be able to have this experience. Great cafes for lunch in Llandeilo too. Very highly recommended. "Spending a day with Simon is an absolute joy. He is an excellent teacher who is able to clearly explain what you need to do and why, and with care and encouragement. So often experts in their field (as Simon clearly is) find it difficult to pass on their knowledge to complete beginners, but Simon did so without ever making me feel that any question was too silly. On top of all of this, he is really nice guy! I'm sure I will do another of his workshops in the near future."
