"My friend came down from Shropshire and I thought we do something different so booked this course at the last minute. What a great time we had! Completely different to anything we had done before and under the patient guidance of Sara, we created unique silver cuffs, earrings and pendants, learned new skills and had a blast doing it! Sara is talented artist and an amazingly gifted teacher ..at no time did we feel may be leaving without something that looked professional, she deftly showed us each step and assured us it would be fine! We are now proud owners of one off pieces to be worn and appreciated for many years. We can't recommend this workshop highly enough, a creative few hours with an expert has certainly brightened our dull February weekend, and Sarah made us very welcome in her lovely country cottage .. with frequent guest appearances from Misty, who completed the ambience!"

"A lovely way to spend a few hours with friends and enjoy the pleasure of creating your own special piece of jewellery-I came away with a wonderful silver bangle that I couldn’t believe I had created myself-can’t stop looking at it! My friend made a perfect pair of earrings. Sara made the day for us-her Studio was so professionally laid out with every imaginable tool possible-she was very helpful and encouraging and made us most welcome. "I have really just started trying to make jewellery in silver but still had no idea of what I wanted to do - despite seeing hundreds of images in Facebook, Instagram etc! Over mugs of tea in Sara’s lovely kitchen with Misty sitting by our feet, we went through what I had done, what I liked and what we could feasibly do in the time we had Then off we went to the amazing workshop in her Kent garden. I spent all day learning new techniques and using Sara’s own tools to make a hammered silver cuff bracelet, a pair of sparkling little silver star earrings and the adventurous retriculated silver earrings with star cut outs - suitable for any high flying meeting or potential girl band rock star! Star is warm, friendly and kind (no wrist slapping or sighs). She lets you work at your own pace and steps in at exactly the right moment Anyone booking this course will have the most fantastic day or even few hours here. Spoil yourself and spend some time mastering a little piece of silver magic"

"I booked a half day silversmithing workshop with Sara for a birthday present and it was an excellent experience. Sara was very welcoming and instantly helped us with lots of design ideas, ensuring she was there to support throughout. Sara had lots of suggestions if anything needed correcting and she was a great teacher, explaining the process as we went through. It was fantastic to take home some finished pieces and I would highly recommend this course to all!"

"We had such a great morning making Christmas tree decorations as part of our office day out before breaking up for the holidays. Sara was so helpful in designing a course for us that would accommodate a larger group than normal and that catered for mixed characters and abilities. We all came away with a lovely handmade memento of the day, as well as having spent a fun and relaxing morning. I have no hesitation in recommending the courses at SDP, and I now really want to return at some point to try out some other jewellery-making skills."

I’m a complete novice in all things creative but came away with a lovely hammered silver bangle and a silver gingerbread man Xmas decoration both of which I’m very pleased with. "Sara was lovely!! I booked an afternoon session to create a personal, handmade item to give as my family Secret Santa present. I am so pleased that I took the chance and booked a session - I have no creativity (!) and no previous experience but now I have a gorgeous pair of earrings and I completely loved my afternoon. Initially, Sara made me tea and we talked about possible designs of the earrings. Sara guided me through the process and we came up with a totally original design! I loved using all the tools and learning about the different silver techniques- the time flew by and Sara’s gorgeous little dog sat happily watching us throughout. I loved my afternoon and will definitely be back. Thank you so much Sara."

"Brilliant one day course. I chose to make a leaf shaped pendant, probably threw Sara by choosing an unusual leaf but she didn’t baulk at all. She was so patient and explained everything so well. Nothing was too much trouble and I’ve gone home with a necklace to be proud of. Thanks very much Sara"

"I chose to attend a 1:1 workshop with Sara to make a memorial pendant to match an existing piece of jewellery. Sara is patient and takes her time to explain each process and tool. Within 2 hours, under Sara's excellent guidance I was able to achieve far more than I expected and left with a beautiful pendant in memory of my dad. I can't recommend Sara enough."

"I bought this for myself to make some personal gifts for Christmas. I booked the half day bangle session. I would throughly recommend this. Sara was friendly and welcoming from the start and was patient and supportive throughout making me feel confident by modelling the techniques and guiding me through each part. I’ve done a couple of silver courses before but this was far superior and completely bespoke to me. Sara was an amazing tutor who made the session so enjoyable and made me feel super confident and we actually made a ring as well as a bangle during the session. They turned out so beautifully that I’m keeping them instead of giving them away for Christmas!! I will definitely be going back to make some more items and can’t recommend this session highly enough. 5 stars - thank you Sara!!"

"There's magic at the bottom of this lady's garden. Spent a very enjoyable and productive day with the incredible Silver Designed Personally. I have always wanted to make a pair of my own earrings and the teacher was so helpful and inspiring. Lovely setting too! Great 'sandwich' lunch and supply of green tea. Would recommend this experience as a unique and creative day!"

"I had a great time at the silver leaf jewellery making day with Sara, so wanted to post a review! If you enjoy making things and want to try something different this is perfect for you. Sara took me through all the steps and let me try all sorts of tools (flame torch was a favourite for me!). The day was very insightful, fun and I came away with a beautiful leaf pendant. Sara is an awesome tutor who is really friendly and encouraging and I can't not mention her workshop and garden which are absolutely gorgeous!"

"As I had such a great service with a bespoke trinket box from Sara, decided to treat myself to one of her workshop days. As a complete novice and not used to using tools I was a little sceptical that I could make a wearable piece of silver jewellery in only one day. I needn’t have worried, Sara was so patient and helpful, the day was a delight and I came away with a beautiful pair of leaf earrings that were all my own work. One to one tuition was superb, no waiting for help. Sara is a delight and easy to talk to, she made me very welcome and at ease. Such a great experience, I will be buying a couple of gift vouchers as Christmas presents for special friends."
