Jules started her journey into jewellery making on a three day course and was instantly hooked, she has since attended a number of further courses, practiced in her home studio, worked on a large variety of commissions in both silver & gold, supplied shops and run workshops.
Jules is a qualified teacher with over 10 years experience, this combined with her silversmithing skills, kind nature and patience has enabled her to set up a successful workshop for students to learn in.
"Jules was an absolute delight! My children gave me a two day course for my birthday. I made a sea glass pendant as well as a cuff with sea glass, I was amazed at how well they both turned out. Jules talked us through every stage of the process, she was kind, patient and helpful. The workshop was well kitted out and Jules a lovely host. I couldn't recommend her highly enough. If you're a sea glass addict like me it was the perfect way to spend a weekend. Thank you x"
"I had the best day ever. The workshop exceeded my expectations, Jules made it feel so easy and this is all down to how patient and helpful she is. I never expected to come away with such a special piece of jewellery and to have felt such a calmness throughout the whole process is amazing.
I would recommend this to anyone of any skill level as I came as a complete novice myself. Thank you! "
"My daughter and I spent a wonderful day with Jules making necklaces from sea glass we had found. Lots of guidance and help where needed for two competed novices - we’re so impressed with the finished items!"
Sea & Solder responded:
" Thank you Liz, it was a pleasure to have yourself and your daughter in the workshop. Well done to you both for making such lovely pieces. Jules"
