"What a great day! It was relaxed and friendly and Jonathan had the course pitched at just the right level for beginners making it really easy to understand what we were trying to achieve. We built up skills during the morning that allowed us to make our own silver jewellery in the afternoon. I thoroughly enjoyed learning a new skill and think we were all proud of what we had achieved in a day - very wearable, individual jewellery. "

"Jonathan was a brilliant teacher and very personable. Basic skills in the morning followed by making a piece of silver jewellery in the afternoon. He spread his attention between the three of us really well. Lovely tea and cake and a pretty garden to relax in for lunch. Just what I needed to switch off from a stressful week. "What an amazing day! My friends and I spent the morning learning lots of skills and practising using copper. Jonathan has a great pace of delivery and a perfect teaching style. He’s patient, attentive to requests and supportive. 👌 We all made a beautiful silver pieces of jewellery in the afternoon and came away happy, chilled and thrilled with our makes. "I really enjoyed the jewellery making course with Saltway Silver. I was a complete beginner but was still able to leave with several pieces of jewellery made from copper and silver. The workshop was well equipped and caters for beginners like me and more experienced jewellery makers. It was a busy day but we still managed to break for tea /coffee and homemade cake. I was amazed how much I learned and produced. "

Learnt lots of techniques, well demonstrated by Jonathan at first, then he guided students -practising first in copper and then applied these new skills to produce a final piece in silver. Workshop is petite but perfect - good range of tools and equipment. Lots of pieces around for inspiration. The cake is certainly yummy! Very accommodating tutor."

"My wife booked this course as a 13th birthday present for our daughter, we had no idea what to expect but what a revelation it was. Jonathan has the patience of a saint and his explanations of techniques, tools to use and materials is thorough but easy to follow as novices to jewellery making. After practising on several copper pieces, we were let loose on the silver, our daughter had a design for a ring she wanted, drew the idea down and although some elements were small and fiddly, Jonathan helped her to get it marked out, cut and solder the different elements of the ring she'd designed and it turned out just as she wanted it............AMAZING !!!! Really can't recommend Salt Way Silver highly enough, we plan to return ourselves at some point. Thank you Jonathan for a wonderful experience :)"

I can't believe how much we learned in just one day - so much that I've now been bought some materials/equipment as a birthday present and I'm going to start making my own silver jewellery. It was a fantastic activity for me and my Mum to do together, we both had so much fun and are still wearing the rings we made every day since. "A great day with Jonathan beginning with the copper wire to gain confidence and then moving onto our main pieces of silver work. There was also the option to pay extra for a more substantial piece of jewellery. Within the course price the was the option of stacking rings, a bangle, pendant or earrings. My group were all very happy with our final pieces. "
