A day of felt making: 2D and 3D Wet Felting with Purr & Wag It, Tabletop Workshops
"Thank you Heather for your very knowledgable workshop. Due to the small size, Heather was able to give us lots of attention. It was almost as if we had private tuition but at a much lower cost.
Her materials were all exceptional quality, she was very welcoming and friendly. Really good value for money. Thank you Heather"
"I had a wonderful day at Heather's wet felting workshop! I arrived with no knowledge of the technique but left with a good understanding of this fascinating technique and a 3D pot to show for it!
What stood out most was Heather herself. She was friendly, welcoming, and warm. Her class was relaxed, with music playing in the background, and it was clear she genuinely wanted everyone to have fun and be creative. Heather didn't just show us "how" – she worked alongside us and took the time to explain "why" whenever it was relevant. She gently corrected us if we made mistakes, turning them into learning opportunities rather than something to be embarrassed about.
The class was very interactive and engaging. I was amazed at how much I learned in a single day, going from a complete beginner to creating 2D felt art and even a 3D object.
Heather generously provided all the materials, and the range of colours was fantastic. She didn't hold back on the supplies, either.
I highly recommend the full-day class for anyone new to wet felting. Understanding the 2D technique is very helpful before moving on to 3D, though 3D is probably doable even if you're starting from scratch.
Thank you, Heather, for an unforgettable experience! I can't wait to come back for another workshop."
"I booked a class with my friend as a gift, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Heather sent an email well before the class with additional info and instructions on finding the venue and was very welcoming on arrival offering tea and biscuits. The instructions for the class were clear and the materials were good quality. The atmosphere was relaxed and we both came away with something we made that we really liked. Ideal!"
"What a fantastic team activity - we are all thrilled with our Tomtes! Heather was brilliant; very welcoming, relaxed and informative. She is clearly a brilliant artist and is at complete ease sharing her skills and knowledge. Great response from initial enquiry, booking and managing the session and really lovely atmosphere on the day. Thank you Heather!
Our little tomte friends have settled in to their new homes and had their first virtual team meet on zoom this week!
With huge thanks,
The Affinity Team"
