"I did the Lino printing day with Penny one year ago. She is such a great teacher - very patient, generous with her time and also with her lovely home-made cakes, tea, coffee which are frequently being offered! So I very much wanted to return. Lino cutting and printing is such a satisfying & rewarding craft. I love doing it and we produced 10 lovely Christmas cards and can also print as many as you like onto paper. It's also set in a lovely studio. I highly recommend you do a course with Penny. "

"For my first time on a crafting course this set a very high standard indeed. Penny guided us through the linocut reduction process with the perfect balance of personal instruction, demonstrating to the group and letting us get on with it. The materials, tools, workspace and setting were all first class. I have already followed up the course with an order to Penny's recommended local supplier to continue linocutting at home."

"This workshop felt like a real gift of time, enthusiasm, skills-building, camaraderie and creative flow. The hours slipped by as we were tutored through the steps and given individual feedback along the way from a wonderful teacher who provided a beautiful setting and relaxed atmosphere. This technique is a little confusing to self-teach so I would recommend this in-person workshop to really understand the process and feel confident in continuing at home. "

"Thank you Penny for a fabulous lino printing course. You were really helpful, whilst letting us do our own thing. Your instructions were clear. The studio space was great, lots of space and choice of different papers to collage and print on. Your flapjacks, cakes and endless supply of tea were very much appreciated as was your friendly manner and conversation. My sister and I came away with about 10 prints each! I think I now have a new hobby!"

"My sister and I spent a very happy day under Penny’s excellent tutelage in her workshop learning about reduction lino printing and making a number of prints. Neither of us had done anything like this before but we got stuck in to tracing and cutting before we knew it. We really enjoyed making the prints; Penny’s easy manner; and her yummy cakes. We would recommend this course to beginners and those who have done it before. I do hope Penny will offer further days like this so we can do some more!"

"What an inspiring and creative day! Penny was so welcoming and her studio was delightful (and warm). I was much more of a novice than my fellow two attendees but with Penny's patience and clear guidance, I was able to produce a design and cards that I was really happy with. Penny made copious amounts of hot drinks and served us delicious homemade cakes in the afternoon - we were very well looked after. It really was a great way to spend the day and so much fun with lots of giggles. I can't think of a better way to while away a day creatively. "

Thank you your patient tuition and help with anything we wanted to ask. It’s in a lovely setting with the workshop and surrounding garden and horses in the field next door. Highly recommended and I will be back!"

"We really enjoyed this course. Penny explained the techniques we needed to use clearly and patiently, and was on hand to help as and when needed, also providing delicious home-made cakes at various points in the day (and Milo was very welcoming too!) We spent an incredibly relaxing day creating some prints that we were really proud of, and would definitely recommend Penny's workshops - we're hoping to go back next year to earn about more advanced techniques, but this was a wonderful introduction to lino printing."
