Maker's bio

Hi, I am Penny, a jeweller and teacher based in Camden, London. I have been making jewellery since 1994 and teaching jewellery making since 2009, I have a teaching qualification for teaching adults, plus BA and MA certificates in Jewellery. I have been teaching all around London, both privately as well as at various different colleges / adult education centres for 16 years so far. I am fascinated by the process of making - transforming basic materials into treasures. in my jewellery courses, I love to share these amazing processes with you and help guide you to create your own beautiful jewellery. I love sharing my skills, and the fun of seeing an idea come to life. I focus on small groups - with a maximum of 3 students, so that everyone gets lots of support and attention and plenty of opportunity to get really hands on with their jewellery making.
