One day introduction to working with beads and wire for jewellery making. Bead stringing is a key jewellery making skill, and learning how to securely and professionally string and finish a bead necklace or bracelet is a fun way to get started making jewellery and to get creative. - we'll cover this, as well as several other related skills in this course... In this one day course, we cover the key skills to get started using beads to create your own jewellery. Design, string and fasten your own necklace from my selection of gemstone and glass beads. Learn to work with pliers and wire to create your own colourful earrings. Create your choice of additional alternative necklace designs, or bracelets, to complete your set of gorgeous jewellery to take home and enjoy. Maximum class size of 3 people at my dedicated workshop space here in Camden Town, London NW1 Course runs from 10am to 5pm with a one hour lunch break.

What's included in the price?

During the day you will create at the very least, a necklace and a couple of pairs of earrings to your own design, ready to take home and wear, but you will almost certainly also create a pair of bracelets or a second different necklace style as well. The fee includes; - your day of tuition - 10am to 5pm, use of all relevant tools, all beads needed from my selection of lovely gemstones and glass beads, and any other consumables needed for your creations, tea, coffee and refreshments. Lunch is not included, but there are many local cafes.

I have been making jewellery since 1994, I have a teaching certificate for teaching adults, plus BA and MA certificates in Jewellery and have been teaching jewellery making at adult education centres & around London since 2009. I love sharing my skills, helping my students to make beautiful jewellery, and to develop and refine their skills and creativity.
