"I found this workshop on eventbrite and I am so glad i did! I purchased this course for my partner for his birthday and he loved it, as did I. Pottery is something that we both love to do and Carla was great. When we arrived Carla was friendly and welcoming. Everything was laid out on the table meaning that the mugs could be produced in the time and the small group size meant that 1:1 tuition was given when needed. Everything was explained step by step, no rushing just following the steps in your own time with Carla's guidance being given when ever it was needed. We both thought there was no way we could produce one mug that was usable let alone two but we did it and we were both very pleased with the workshop overall we had great fun. The mugs were truly beautiful and we are both very proud of them! Thanks again Carla for being so welcoming, we both had a great time and the mugs we produced have taken front row seats on the mug shelf! :)"

"I was made very welcome by Carla upon arrival. A lovely space. All equipment and materials were provided. Carla explained everything clearly and simply. The opportunity to express yourself individually on the clay was encouraged. Overall it was a very pleasant experience which I would both recommend and do again. Carla you made clay fun. Thank you."

"Thanks to Carla I have made 2 excellent mugs which are in regular use. They look attractive and it gives me a buzz to think I'm drinking out of something I made myself! Carla's preparation for the course meant that everything could be achieved in the time. The small group allows for 1 to 1 tuition and the other ladies were lovely."

Everything was laid out and organised so we could get as much done as possible but didn't feel rushed and even a lovely break time in the garden with drinks. The mugs we made have been well used, I'm thrilled to have achieved something so good. Carla was a great teacher with patience and the techniques used."

"I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working within Carla Sealey's Studio. I liked having the choices of clays and glazes to use so that I could make my own personal choices. I have done a course with clay before but this, a 3 day course, it was nice to start from using raw clay and end up with something finished by the third session for final firing. It has been sociable too, getting to know the other person on the course with me, and thank Carla for her excellent guidance. In my opinion this course would suit both a single would-be Potter, a couple of friends wanting time out together, or grandparent/grandchild experience. I look forward to signing up to a further course in the Autumn to add to my collection."

"Working with clay was new to me and I really appreciated the help and advice provided by Carla. There were only 2 of us on the course and, therefore, we had far more individual attention than would have been possible in a larger class. I had been through a very stressful time prior to the course and found the whole experience relaxing and felt recharged afterwards. I don't think of myself as an artistic person but I ended up with lovely bowls and plates with beautiful glazes and feel encouraged to do more."
