"I visited on a cold wet Saturday in late April
Only 3 of us on the course . Catherine welcomed us with a drink and got talking straight away about the days event.
She had her own mixed glazes we could use as well as some ready mixed brush on glazes.
We use horse hair to start with as a naked raku process then stopped for lunch. After lunch we cracked on loading the kiln with our other pots and took it in turns to smoke and wash them up afterwards. An amazing day loved every minute of it. Totally recommend to anyone to have a go. "

" Thanks so much for taking the time to review the Raku day. It was lovely to meet you and I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Stay inspired!"
"Catherine Lucktaylor gives a very informative and friendly course on Raku making and firing.
She is a good instructor with a great knowledge of the subject and is able to make us feel both competant and creative.
Catherine is a welcoming and a warm person to work with.
