"Really enjoyed the course found it very therapeutic. Being new to silversmithing I had no previous experience but Lori explained each step and made me feel relaxed and confident to do the task myself, gave great tips and feedback. As I was only one on the course it was really useful as didn’t have any distractions or feel rushed especially as it took me a few attempts to master the cutting and soldering elements! Lori didn’t take over but gently encouraged me to have another go which gave me more confidence. Came away with some lovely pieces that I was proud to say I made. Would definitely recommend and I’m already thinking about doing the silver clay workshop next. "

"What an incredible two days! Lori was absolutely amazing—so patient and supportive, letting me work at my own pace. I was amazed at how many new skills I picked up during the course—I ended up making five different pieces! I learned how to set stones, roll a ‘worm’, polish metal, and even use a kiln and blowtorch. The two days flew by far too quickly, and since then, I’ve definitely caught the jewellery-making bug! I can’t wait to dive in with my own kit. Huge thanks to Lori (and to Bluey the budgie for keeping us company!)."

"What an amazing course this was, Lori throughout both days taught the skills and methods in a clear and supportive manner and was full of incredible tips about how to reproduce them at home with the minimum cost of equipment, so enthusiastic and encouraging for people to take this up independently without expecting repeat visits- which I will be doing in the near future to gain more insightful knowledge and benefit from her wealth of experience. I had a thoroughly enjoyable 2 days away from the stresses of everyday life in a productive, professional and fun environment. I can highly recommend this course without hesitation. It was amazing!
