"What an incredible experience! I booked this as a late Valentine’s Day present for my partner, jack who runs the course/day was very polite and professional. Makes you feel very comfortable and at ease suppling coffee and nibbles whilst explaining what we was going to do and how to do it. With great guidance we created our pottery and can’t wait to get it back. Me and my partner can’t wait to do it again in the future and can’t praise jack enough for everything he has done. It’s an experience which shouldn’t be missed"

"Such a fantastic day. Jack is a super teacher and gives encouraging support, when needed, whilst also allowing each person to work with a degree of independence. Several pieces can be completed and the locally produced healthy lunch was delicious. I would thoroughly recommend this excellent venue and will definitely be signing up for more in the future!"

"I completed the one day throwing course, and it was excellent from start to finish. Jack was a great host and teacher. As some others have commented, Jack gives good clear instruction, and lets you work at a pace that suits you. Because the class is restricted to 4 people, Jack can keep a keen eye on everyone's progress and step in when needed. Great lunch too. If you're considering having a go at pottery, stop deliberating and sign-up... you won't be disappointed!"

The studio is stylish and so peaceful, a really lovely creative space. Jack is so patient and helpful and throwing the pottery was such a therapeutic experience. We can't wait to get our pottery back and on display. Highly recommend to anyone!"

"Loved it! Jack is a great teacher and he strikes that perfect balance of guiding you when needed whilst you work at your own pace. It is possible to make several pieces over the course of the day so plenty of opportunity for that masterpiece! Lunch was very tasty with locally sourced products & any dietary requirements are catered for. All together a great introduction to throwing in a warm and relaxing environment, I would not hesitate to recommend it."

"We purchased two pottery throwing workshops for our mums and they throughly enjoyed it. In fact mum spent at least 20 minutes praising it on the phone to me. They thought Jack was very welcoming, friendly and patient and they are so happy with the pots they made. It is a wonderful memory for them as they not only had fun and but learnt a new skill and did something outside of their comfort zone. Highly recommend this place!"

"What a joy! I've been looking for something creative to do with my sports mad 13 year old daughter and the 2.5 hour throwing course with Jack was the absolute tonic. The facilities are top notch. The coffee and croissants hit the spot. The pottery experience was just brilliant. Jack was kind, attentive and encouraging - a perfect tutor. Such an enjoyable morning and my daughter is already asking when we can do it again. I couldn't recommend this experience more highly. We can't wait to see our pots once they are fired and glazed!"

"We booked onto a 2.5 hour beginners pottery course for the two of us (at very late notice!) and had a great time! We arrived at the studio in its beautiful rural setting and had some coffee and brownies on arrival. Jack was excellent at explaining the technique and we were very quickly into it. We made 3 pots each (of varying shapes and sizes!) under very close supervision and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Highly recommended to all!"

"It was such a good experience to get out of London for half the day and actually make something with my own hands in Jack's beautiful studio in Petersfield! Jack is an incredibly patient and enthusiastic teacher, going through each step of the process carefully and then looking after you when you give it a go. I managed to produce three different pieces, which Jack will fire and glaze for me. I would recommend this course to anyone; my friends will be getting vouchers to attend for the foreseeable future!"

Our first pottery experience as a birthday present for my daughter - she absolutely loved it and Jack helped us both from start to finish. To see the happiness on her face throughout was priceless. The facilities and environment were perfect. We returned to do the glazing and then again to pick up our finished pieces. I plan for us to go back in a month or two so that we can do it all again.
