About me and my studio
I am a professional jeweller and have been teaching for 10 years.
All of my workshops take place in my studio, set within the beautiful walled gardens of Belgrave Hall, a stunning Grade II listed building in Leicester.
The studio is part of the Hall's former outbuildings and stables . It is an oasis of calm and the perfect place for a spot of jewellery making.
I work primarily in silver, gold, copper and brass. I also specialise in a Korean technique called “Keum Boo where 24ct gold is bonded to silver.
I take great joy in passing the skills and techniques I have developed over the years with my students.

1-Day Jewellery Making “Keum Boo” Workshop for 2 people
"I wasn't sure what to expect from the workshop and I guess I'd never really thought about how jewellery is made. It was a complete eye-opener! There were two of us and Linda expertly...and patiently took us through the various processes. At the end of the day I was the proud owner of a pair of silver earrings and matching necklace! Thank you Linda for a really interesting and fun day.
"There were two of us on this course, complete novices, and what a great time we had! I had no idea how much was involved in making an item of jewellery and have a new respect for those who do it for a living or as a hobby! Linda was a very patient teacher, very creative, always making helpful suggestion to allow us to achieve or improve whatever ideas we had come up with. The little workshop is very well equipped and ideally located within the grounds of Belgrave Hall, so it was lovely and quiet and we could go for a wander and have our picnic in the gardens and courtyard. And at the end of the day we came out with our very own item of jewellery!
The course was great fun, very instructive, and I would recommend it to anyone!!"
"I really enjoyed my day. Having attended courses with different tutors in the past I was impressed by how our individual requirements were met and our tutors knowledge was communicated in such a clear and concise way. A fun day, pleased with my stacking ring and just sad that Leicester’s gain is Fromes loss.

" Hi Tricia,
Thank you so much for your review. It was lovely meeting you and being apart of your jewellery making journey. Good luck and happy jewellery making.
"I had a fantastic 2-day workshop with Linda and made two lovely pieces of jewellery. Linda is very knowledgeable and was very encouraging, and I came away with a good understanding of various techniques. She had a very relaxed style of teaching which made the whole time really enjoyable. I would highly recommend these workshops to anyone who wants a fun experience or is interested in making jewellery."
