Maggie reviewed: Beginners Linocut Workshop at Hitchin Lavender Farm, Hertfordshire

"I thoroughly enjoyed Kim’s beginners linocut course. The venue was beautiful and fragrant (Hitchen Lavender Farm) and the course was pitched just right for all who attended. I am a beginner but Kim was so welcoming, gave great explanations, demonstrations and also some additional creative ideas. She provided everything we needed, including extras like tissue paper for a mixed media approach and by the end of the 2.5 hours I felt like I had learnt a lot, felt confident with the basic techniques and had a linocut and prints I was proud to take home. Thoroughly recommend the course and Kim’s tutoring. "

"Another great morning with Kim, different to the last one I attended and i think more fulfilling. Kim thinks on her feet - there are so many questions to be answered and is really helpful, everyone leaves with a sense of achievement. Thank you."

Alison Wood reviewed: Botanical Linocut Workshop at Ransoms Pavilion, Hitchin, Hertfordshire

"I did the course yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed my morning. Kim taught us well and was positive and encouraging throughout. The weather was dreadful outside, but inside we were oblivious. The group size was just right, so we all got the attention we needed. I was very happy with the design I produced and am happy to give the cards to people I like! Thank you Kim."

Janet Oldham reviewed: Beginners Linocut Workshop at Hitchin Lavender Farm, Hertfordshire

"I really enjoyed the workshop. There were plenty of reference materials and previous work there for inspiration. Kim was a great tutor and took the time to help people with very different levels of experience to achieve good results. The only thing I would say is that space was a little bit tight on the printing table when all 8 of us were trying to print but I would definitely do a similar workshop again. The location and gorgeous cake just add to the appeal!"

"Brilliant course in a lovely location. Good even for those who aren’t good at drawing as you can be shown how to trace and transfer the design. There is also lots of inspiration to draw from... and nice coffee and cake!"
