Jonny Cope is a multi-media craftsman. He works across a range of crafts: blacksmithing, bladesmithing, bronze casting, silver smithing, wood work, leather craft, flint knapping, bushcraft skills and more. His key interest is the crafting of historical replicas and the continuation of a number of primitive skills. He is also a musician and offers workshops in a range of instruments and techniques.
"Linda and I really enjoyed our "Introduction to Bronze Age Casting" ... especially given Jonny's passion and experience for the subject. His knowledge doesn't stop at Bronze Casting though, we also covered a number of other subjects such as the playing of Aboriginal instruments, Flint Knapping, identifying fossils as well as "technology" in the Neanderthal, Bronze and Iron ages.
Our Bronze Axe Heads currently have pride of place on our desks and we're hoping to return to participate in the other courses that Jonny offers."

"Glad you enjoyed the day and great chatting with you."
"Jonny's intro to flint knapping was excellent. Just the right mix of teaching - the theory is more interesting than you'd think - and practical, fun, learning. If bashing rocks together is your idea of a good time, then this is highly recommended."
"Bought as a gift for my dad. We both had a great time learning about the dark art of metal! Jonathan was a fantastic host and teacher, happy to answer any questions and offer a real insight into the process and the history behind it.
A fantastic first taste of bronze"
