"I honestly couldn’t recommend a better course, teacher, day or course! It was absolutely fantastic. Jolene is so kind, helpful, thoughtful and fun. My husband and I did the 1 day ring/bangle course for my 30th birthday. We had the studio to ourselves with one on one tutorials from Jolene. I made two rings and two bangles, and my husband chose to make me three bangles. Jolene made brownies for us as well which was a wonderful treat! Absolutely brilliant day. Thank you! "

"This was a very belated 60th birthday treat but certainly worth waiting for. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. Jolene has created a wonderful studio full of all sorts of quirky interesting objects and all the required tools. She was an excellent and patient teacher and both Anna and I were delighted with the copper and silver bangles that we made. We were also treated to endless cups of tea and delicious home made brownies! I would highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to understand a little more about the possibilities of jewellery making. Many thanks Jolene. "

"What an absolutely fabulous day my daughter and I had. We both share a birthday and try and do something different on our birthday each year. This year we went to Jolene’s bangle and ring day course. It was worth every penny, was reasonably priced and she is such a lovely patient, encouraging lady. She also makes amazing millionaires shortcake. We came away with 2 bangles each, I made a coil ring and my daughter made 3 stacking rings. Thank you for making a special day even better."

"My sister and I had a fantastic time today making our bangles. Jolene was very patient offering ideas, help , support and encouragement when needed but still allowing us to explore our own ideas. We came away with 3 great wearable pieces. I would definitely recommend Jolene’s classes. Hopefully we will return at some point to try earrings and/or pendants. Jolene also makes the best brownies 😋"

"My granddaughter and I took part in Jolene's bangle-making workshops today whilst it snowed outside! I t was a birthday present for my granddaughter and something she really wanted to do. Doing it together gave us some quality time learning new skills in the creative environment of Jolene's workshop. Jolene broke down each stage of the process into manageable chunks so that we successfully created two copper and one silver bangle each. Thank you Jolene for a super day."

"I booked this for my 3 sisters as an belated Christmas gift, I’d previously looked at the reviews from craft courses and felt that Jolene’s studio would be the best fit for our group. I’m really pleased that we chose Jolene as our host as she was very welcoming and helpful whilst we made our bangles in her studio. She took the time to explain the process to us and was patient, especially as this was our first jewellery class. All the materials we needed were provided including brownies, tea and coffee. We would definitely recommend Jolene’s jewellery class for a fun and enjoyable experience."

"Absolutely fantastic time celebrating our daughters 21st Birthday. Jolene is the most welcoming host and patient teacher knowing exactly how much or how little guidance to give. There were 4 of us. 2 in our Fifties and 2 in their early Twenties. Two male two female. Jolene was able to find a way of cultivating and nurturing creativity in all of us working round our differing styles and personalities . We came home with wonderful memories and beautiful creations. "Fabulous, describes our day. A friend and I have a weekend away every year and do a different type of craft course on the Saturday. This year was jewellery making and up popped Jolene, a brilliant day, she explained and demonstrated everything and helped along the way to produce out unique pieces. Chocolate brownies were delicious, we laughed and chatted. Would 100% recommend. Thank you Jolene."

"My friend Helen and I meet up every year to try a new craft. We have been friends since aged 11. We decided to book Jolene course as the location suited us. We found the venue really easily and with parking right outside. We had a blast!. Jolene is so friendly and skilled. We had a lot of fun, and she was patient with us explaining all the processes. Too top it all the brownies were amazing "

"Booked this worship as “special birthday” present for my daughter. We had a wonderful day . Jolene gave a full demonstration of all the techniques we would be use ins and then provided ongoing ideas, support and guidance throughout the day along with plenty of refreshments. The day went so quickly. We were thrilled with the quality of our necklaces and earrings we produced from our somewhat sketchy ideas and would now love to make more! One small thing is to mention is that there is a steep flight of steps to reach the workshop. There are strong handrails but some may find it difficult to access. "I purchased this course as a birthday gift for my wife, but due to unforseen circumstances I needed to rearrange the date. Jolene was very accommodating with this and messaged back the same day with the dates we asked for. What can we say about the course. It was everything and more that we could have asked for. Just myself and my wife were the only participants which made if feel very personal. Jolene is an exceptional teacher and demonstrated every aspect of the processes clearly and with patience. Jolene's knowledge and design ideas were wonderful and gave us inspiration for the rings and bangles that we made. The quaint studio has many pieces that also gave inspiration and we spent a long time looking at the bespoke items. We came away with 2 bangles and 3 rings and with Jolene's help with the soldering they are all individual. Plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits on offer and we came away with happy memories and beautiful keepsakes. I would definitely recommend Jolene's course and thank her for her wonderful hospitality and when we are able to we will definitely book again."

"I booked a bangle making workshop with Jolene for my daughter's 12th birthday celebrations. We had a wonderful time in such a lovely workshop space. It is clear that Jolene loves her workspace as that shows with all the wonderful things that are on display. Jolene has such a calm manner and instantly put my daughter at ease. Her style of teaching is relaxed and fun whilst also being informative. Ava initially started off quite worried about ‘messing up’ her bangle but with Jolene’s guidance and reassurance she relaxed and her bangles were amazing. Her confidence throughout the workshop grew and on all of my photos that I took she had a huge grin on her face. We both thoroughly enjoyed our time together, Jolene was amazing! She had also made us some wonderful homemade chocolate brownies and we had plenty of drinks. We were made to feel very welcome in Jolene’s wonderful space and are already wanting to return for another workshop. We will treasure our bangles that we made forever, they are beautiful.
