"I have just completed a three day course at Laura's wonderful studio. I learnt how to give glassware a truly professional finish, make freeform moulds and how to manage the different firings to give different results. She encouraged me to be as imaginative as I wanted to be and after explaining what to do she left me to it. That is exactly the way I prefer to learn and Laura understood that without being told. It is that level of intuition that makes for a really good teacher. And she is. I came away with a lot of technical knowledge about the way glass behaves in different hot and cold forms, which I can now take forward into something of my own."

"I had a really exciting and interesting weekend with Laura. The studio is bright and light and very comfortable to work in. I was able to do so much over the weekend, from cutting glass, grinding, pulling glass through a flame and twisting glass. I used glass powder, fritts and strands as well as choosing from a huge range of coloured glass. Laura is patient and very clear when instructing you. I was thrilled with my end pieces. I would wholeheartedly recommend this course to anyone."

"What a lovely day! Laura's taster day ( bought by my husband as a present ) was so enjoyable. Not ever having thought about doing anything like this I was quite nervous. There really was no need to be, as Laura soon put me at ease and is such a good teacher with so much patience that you can soon start using things you do not know anything about. "I was given this 2 day course as a present and it has turned out to be the best I've ever had. I have a small kiln and have tried glass fusing with not much success . I have worked as a glazier and lead light maker for the last 40 years but she taught me things about glass I had not known before. Laura was a very good teacher and a good host. I would recommend her to anyone even those who have never worked glass before."
