Alan is a great teacher and,believe me, he can help the most ‘cack-handed’ of us produce a useable, aesthetically pleasing footstool. The course is great fun and I met a great group of people. I would highly recommend this course, it really is fantastic value for money- and Wendy, the soups for lunch were fab. Thank you"

"I joined Alan’s class to give a chair some much needed TLC. Alan guided me through the process, demonstrating ‘how to’, checking my progress and assisted my learning by explaining where I’d gone wrong when I made the inevitable novice mistakes (thankfully, nothing too drastic under his watchful eye). During each session Alan is constantly on the go, tutoring, guiding and giving support. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning Upholstery."
