The course with Dobby and Rose is amazing! Becci is full of weaving knowledge and answered all of my questions. She is also very patient which was appreciated as I am new to weaving. It was lovely to come away with a sample that I had made. I highly recommend the course!
I had a fantastic morning of weaving on this course. I felt slightly overwhelmed when I first looked into the loom but before I knew it Rebecca had explained the main technical bits and I was weaving. As soon as Rebecca saw that I needed some help or a tip that would help she was there…I also enjoyed asking her a myriad of other weaving questions which she was more than happy to answer.
I have booked my next lesson already!
I had a wonderful morning with Rebecca. She made the inexplicably complexities of weaving understandable to a complete novice. By the end of the session I had weaved a beautiful sample to frame incorporating various techniques. Rebecca is passionate, incredibly knowledgable about weaving (she has a weaving degree) and a patient and thoughtful teacher. In addition, she makes rather good cookies too!
A great introduction to weaving. An interesting explanation to the loom and how it is set up and then you have a go! Rebecca answered my numerous questions very patiently. It was great to try out different patterns and to come away with a piece of woven material that I had done. I'll be back to weave another piece again.
