Samantha Mann reviewed: Patchwork and Quilting Workshop (Introduction)

"Once again I really enjoyed this quilting workshop, part two of a two part course which aims to introduce students to the skills needed for mastering the basics of patchwork and quilting. In this session I learned how to create half square triangles and then how to finish off a piece of work with binding - something I really wanted to learn. The aims for the day were gorgeously ambitious in order to result in a very attractive and practical finished piece that could be used either as a tool roll, or to store a note pad and pens. I elected for storage for my notepad and will make good use of it. Deborah is welcoming and helpful and I look forward to attending further workshops with her. I now just need to find time at home to practice and cement the skills I have begun to learn. Thank you Deborah."

Samantha Mann reviewed: Patchwork and Quilting Workshop (Introduction)

"I attended this course because I wanted to gain an understanding of how to go about quilting - yes I could have read a book - but I wanted to listen to an experienced quilter and see the essential skills demonstrated. I did that and more, Deborah brought alive the skill of patchwork and quilting and I came away with a cushion that I had created from scratch. Thank you Deborah, I look forward to building on my skills in part two."

Ruth reviewed: Paper craft and card making workshop

"I attended the 10/8/19 card making workshop and have to say, thoroughly enjoyed the session. As a complete novice I found it friendly and very informative with Debbie making sure I didn’t feel left behind at any stage. I produced 2 lovely cards, learnt so much and enjoyed it enough to want to book on the next one. Thanks Debbie."

Linda reviewed: Paper craft and card making workshop

"I attended Debbie's card making workshop on 10th August 2019. I must say the workshop was both informative and lots of fun. Debbie's knowledge of her craft were second to none. I can't believe how fast the time went, but I still managed to produce 2 lovely cards. I will definitely be attending another workshop in the near future. Thank you Debbie."

Lyndsey reviewed: Paper craft and card making workshop

"I really enjoyed my craft making session. I've made cards before, but it was great to learn some more techniques and also meet new people. Deborah carefully led everyone through the steps ensuring each person attending made something they were proud of. Great session."

Caroline Arthur reviewed: Paper craft and card making workshop

"A thoroughly enjoyable crafting workshop for everyone. I am a complete beginner to arts and crafts but was able to follow all the steps with guidance and support from Debbie in this small, friendly, local group. There was plenty of opportunity to explore my own ideas and to use those suggested by Debbie too. The various techniques were clearly demonstrated and the variety of materials and resources were easily accessible. The opportunity to make with others, at my own pace, was a real pleasure and I left with two beautiful, individually crafted cards. What a great sense of achievement and boost to my self-esteem!"

Sian reviewed: Paper craft and card making workshop

"I really enjoyed my card making workshop which was held on 4th May, although i'm not an experienced crafter, it was easy to follow and I made two beautiful cards (saves my buying two cards for the future now!). I will definitely be booking in again. Thanks Dizzy Doo-Dah Crafts!"
