"Mr Partner and I had an amazing time trying stone carving for the first time with Deborah. She easily guided us with different designs and was able to suggest what each of our pieces individually needed. She provides a welcoming and comfy environment. She makes a lovely cake too!"
"Having never carved stone before, I have no idea what to expect, or what I would be able to achieve, but I liked the idea of having a go. I'm so glad I did, it was great.
Debs is such a great teacher, and so knowledgeable, I was instantly at ease. The time just flew by. We were supplied with tea/coffee and home-made cake at break times, and it was great talking to the other carver and hearing about (and seeing some of ) the pieces Debs has carved. I was so encouraged by the experience that I bought another block of stone to take home with me to try carving another piece in my garden. A great weekend!"
Deborah Harrison Sculpture responded:
"Bruce took to carving quickly and absorbed everything I recommended like a sponge. It was a delight to facilitate his carving choices and he produced a delightful gecko!

"Thank you Debs for a very special day. Both Sara and I enjoyed learning to work with stone. With your support and expert guidance you provide a great environment that put us at ease to learn and try the techniques to carve. We appreciated your hospitality and warm welcome, plus you make a great lemon cake. We both thank you for a great day. Best wishes, Rob and Sara."
Deborah Harrison Sculpture responded:
"It was a delight to meet you both. I knew we get on as soon as you said you loved cats! "
"We had a wonderful two days with Debs and learnt a tremendous amount. Debs gave us her professional advice when we needed it but allowed us to develop our own approach. She also has a depth of knowledge about materials, tools, finishes etc which she has been kind enough to share with us.
Thank you Debs!
P.s. the lemon drizzle cake was pretty good too!"
Deborah Harrison Sculpture responded:
"Thank you Helen and Andrew. Glad you had a good weekend. X"
