"This was an absolutely excellent introduction to weaving, and yes, it is indeed possible to weave a scarf - quite a long scarf too - in a day! Anne is a really good teacher and I came home feeling so encouraged and inspired that I have already bought a small loom on which to try out my new skills. The day was also fun and therapeutic - there is nothing like focusing for a few hours on something creative to restore one’s sense of wellbeing. Thank you!"

"What a relaxing and enjoyable way to spend a day. Anne was great at building our confidence over the course of the day, so much so that everyone left the course with a beautiful wearable scarf and a real sense of what might be possible if we wanted to pursue this type of weaving as a pastime. I particularly valued the selection of yarns available to choose and Anne's great input on colour and texture combinations that will work together to give you the style of scarf you are hoping to achieve. She's a great tutor!"

"Had such a good day with Anne. She’s a brilliant teacher, imparting her knowledge with warmth and humour. I’d brought my own yarn but the others were able to select wools from those she had brought along and we all produced lovely scarves to take home. April was the perfect host, keeping us supplied with refreshments and encouragement. Couldn’t recommend too highly."

"I had a fantastic time at the Skipton class. Really friendly and welcoming atmosphere. All 6 of us went home with lovely, individual scarves and a good base of knowledge of how to weave and potential problems to look out for. Anne was so lovely and a great teacher. I did the workshop to see if I would enjoy weaving and I came home and ordered a loom straight away, so I would say it was definitely a success!"
