"Nicky was very friendly and helped us turn our visions into lovely pieces of glass work. We made 2 pieces each in a morning session. She also completed a lovely commission piece to our requirements. Her well equipped studio had everything we needed and Nicky let us do what we wanted while always giving helpful tips. There were just 2 of us and we felt very safe with distancing rules and covid restrictions. We used a gift voucher that we had for Christmas. I will certainly be asking for another and going back."

"I had a good day. Nicky was well orgsnised and it felt very covid safe with just one other participant and perspex screens. I created 2 glass panels - the final product is waiting for firing so the outcome is currrntly unknown. The tuition was good and it was good fun. My first draft course"

"This was a really interesting and fun course. I probably got a bit over-ambitious with my piece, but Nicky's patience and guidence meant that I produced a beautiful breaking waves design. Nicky is so helpful and gave us lots of ideas and handy tips to boost our confidence with using glass, and the day went by so quickly - we didn't want to stop for lunch. Very good value for the money, and this course would be an ideal gift for someone who loves crafting. Would I do it again - oh yes, definitely!! It was fun, fulfilling and a great way to spend the day. Please give it a try, you won't regret it."

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this half day course! Nicky was engaging and walked us through the basics to the point we could try our hand at creating our pieces. Ever professional, at the end of our time when all I needed were some small pieces to give colour to my creation, Nicky helped provide just what I needed with the minimum of time and fuss. I would highly recommend these courses and may well, once covid has blown over, return for a further course..."

"Had a great day on this course a few weeks ago and Nicky was a great teacher - just the right amount of expert guidance and input with her artistic eye, whilst also letting you find & work on your own design. Lovely and relaxed, was completely absorbed in the activity and the time just flew by! I don’t think this will be last glass fusion course I do! Was very pleased with the two pieces I made and can’t wait to do more. I would highly recommend anyone to give it a go and it would also make a lovely pressie if you’re looking for inspiration. "We had a brilliant day with Nicky. A very good teacher, with patience and ideas. She taught us lots of different techniques. She allows you to be as reative as you want. There was a vast amount of material that you can work with. The morning session went by so quickly and we were all eager to get back to her lovely studio in the garden studio after our lunch. We are looking forward seeing our finished pieces."

"I recently did Nicky's full day fused glass course. I've never done glass fusing before but thought it looked interesting. Nicky is a friendly helpful tutor. She gave us a quick talk through the process the let us loss. I did 6 items over the day all simple abstract designs. Nicky was good at advising what to do but let us get on without being interfering. It was a small group, 4 to start with, 2of the group were only doing a half day. This was a really enjoyable introduction to glass fusing and it would be good to do more. It took just under 2 weeks for the fired glass to be collectables. I'm very happy with the course, with how Nicky taught us and with my piece's."

"What a fantastic way to spend a morning or afternoon! Nicky is excellent, patiently teaching us all the techniques required and giving useful suggestions on the artistic front. We've been to see Nicky twice now, firstly creating scenes based on holiday photos and then again to produce a variety of Christmas decorations. We, along with family & friends, were delighted with the results. You can go along with an idea of what you want to create but Nicky also has a really good suggestions box and will help you develop any idea into something that can be created in glass. We would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone!"

"I had a really lovely day with Nicky in a beautiful setting. I hadn’t done anything like this before and was unsure what to expect, but Nicky made us all feel very welcome, and although I didn’t know all the others in the group, the relaxed and friendly atmosphere made it a really fun day. There was no pressure or expectations to be perfect, just plenty of encouragement and help to create some beautiful pieces, whatever our level of creativity. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and would definitely do again and recommend to others."

"I did a full day of fusing. Yes, the venue as a little tricky to find. Having got there, the workshop was such a pleasure. It was all peaceful and all about having a creative time. My coasters and window hanging are beautiful - they actually look vaguely professional - and a number of my friends have expressed a desire to attend one of Nicky's workshops as a result of seeing what I made. I will definitely book again. It really was wonderful to be in the presence of such creativity and allow some of it to brush off onto me."

"I went on the one day course and had an excellent time. I turned up with no idea what I was going to make and ended up making 3 pieces of fused glass which I am very happy with. Nicky has plenty of examples to give you inspiration. She is a patient teacher and encourages your thought process giving advise when it is needed. Ultimately she wants everyone to have a great time and be proud of their creations. I will definitely be returning in the future."

"The venue was a little tricky to find, but once we had arrived the day went brilliantly. The studio was light, airy and comfortable to work in. Nicky's gentle approach to teaching allowed us to get to grips with the basics of glass cutting and gain confidence surprisingly quickly. Making a small coaster first gave us the chance to practise these new skills before moving onto a larger piece. Thank you for a great day, I would definitely recommend this course, and Nicky, to anyone wanting to have a go at glass fusion."

"I had a brilliant day in the workshop at Creative Glass Fusion. The setting is lovely being in the peaceful Berkshire countryside yet close to Theale and M4 etc. The craft day was given to me as a present, the perfect type of gift for me! Nicky showed us examples and also gave us pictures to look at to get our ideas started and then just let us go with them. Her tuition, help and guidance was pitched at just the right level, allowing us all to go with the flow of our chosen projects for the day. The choices of glass materials was extensive. We were shown and encouraged to use a few techniques to achieve what we wanted. I made a square, curved plate that has pride of place on my coffee table, along with two pretty coasters that I had thought of giving away as gifts..! I had a lovely day and would thoroughly recommend it."
