Hi, I am passionate about encaustic wax as I hope you can tell from the reviews by previous students. Being able to pass on my knowledge and little tricks of the trade is a real pleasure. I have been painting all my life, but ‘found’ encaustic whilst studying as a mature student at Art College. I was hooked! I am a member of the International Encaustic Artists organisation (IEA) and a prize winner for my encaustic work. My workshops are always fun. We pack a lot in, but the time just flies!

"I can highly recommend this workshop. I'm a photographer and wanted to learn how to incorporate encaustic into my work. Before the workshop I had phone and email correspondence with Lyn and together we worked out what we wanted to do. Lyn understood exactly what I am trying to express in my work and made some excellent suggestions. The day itself was great fun - I approached it in the spirit of experimentation and left with loads of ideas for things to try by myself. Lyn explained things clearly and her manner allowed me to have a go without feeling any pressure to get things "right" - we just let the evolving work take us where it took us. She was great company, and I had a wonderful day. "
