"This was a really enjoyable way to spend a weekend. There were only four of us on the course so Bridget had lots of time to spend with each of us. Everything was very well organised and there was lots of different coloured wool to choose from. Bridget showed each of us individually how to create a colour palette and talked us through how to build a picture. Her techniques are very different from anything I have seen before - a much gentler way of working but with fantastic results. Everyone went away with a beautiful felt picture."

"Having never tried any form of felting before I was a little worried about attending a two-day workshop. However, Bridget made me feel welcome and comfortable from the beginning. Although in an informal setting with tea/coffee and biscuits on tap, the workshop was well structured, informative and fun. All the tools necessary to create a picture were provided along with a multitude of wool choices. Plenty of individual attention meant that Bridget could (and generously did) impart techniques, tips and ideas that improved each unique style of picture. The small class number meant we had time to chat and get to know and encourage each other in our efforts. I left with a piece of feltwork I was proud of as well as a much better understanding of the art of felt picture-making. I would be very happy to recommend this workshop."

We learnt the basic principles of wet felting as well as various different techniques to manipulate the felt in different ways depending on the final result we were trying to achieve. "This was an intense 2 day course from an excellent teacher and accomplished artist. I particularly valued Bridget's fine art skills as well as her knowledge of wool and the felting process. "I would thoroughly recommend this 2 day course. Bridget is a great teacher and gave each person lots of one-to-one guidance. The small group size worked really well and each person was able to progress at their own pace. I was very happy with the picture I managed to produce and have had lots of positive comments from friends who have seen it. It was really interesting watching the pictures each of the other participants created taking shape over the 2 days. I would love to do another of Bridget's courses in the future."

"I attended this workshop with no previous experience of wet felting or knowledge of the felting process and walked away with a picture good enough to frame! The small numbers on the course (6) enabled Bridget to guide us through the process and teach us the skills required to complete our picture. The venue was great, all materials supplied, drinks and biscuits on demand, all in all a very enjoyable and successful workshop. Can highly recommend."

"Super course. Just 6 participants so Bridget could give lots of individual attention to us. All materials and equipment supplied. Bridget is a fantastic artist and her passion, knowledge and enthusiasm for working with felt was infectious. We felt she tailored her tuition to your individual needs - obviously based on the image you wanted to recreate, but also based on the level of experience you had and what you wanted from the course. Can't recommend it enough."

"This course was extremely well organised, started on time straight into assembling the felt backing and building the picture. It was a full on course with every minute being hands on learning with no waffling on. I learnt so much about how to build up a picture background and then how to get the illusion of texture as well as the basic principles of wet felting that was new to me. The day was long but extremely fulfilling and enjoyable producing a fabulous picture at the end of it"

"I attended a weekend workshop which was brilliant. . Bridgette is a fabulous teacher, very patient and thorough. What I really liked was the fact she shared her techniques with us, things that work for and techniques she uses on her own work. Everybody got lots of individual attention. Although we didn't finish it picture, we were given knowledge and fibres to finish at home. Loved the weekend and will definitely do another one."

"I had a fantastic weekend on Bridget's felting course. I learnt so many new things which is always exciting to do. Bridget spent time with all of us individually, and was very patient informing us of what to do. The venue was perfect. All of us on the 2 day course went away with a picture we were proud of and all of them were very different. It was nice to be able to create a picture that had special meaning for each of us. I will be back in the New Year to do another course as there is always something to learn!"

"A very enjoyable course with enthusiastic and empathetic tutor. Very good venue, detailed directions, practicalities handled well etc. Lots of demonstrations and learned new techniques. As a part-time artist, fitting in creative projects around full time work (former art teacher) I feel v frustrated not to get the same subtlety of effects through feltmaking as I might in watercolour or acrylic. It is going to take time to master this medium!"

"This course was absolutley brilliant! We were a small and intimate group which afforded maximum one to one tuition and allowed all attendees to get to know one another and become friends. The materials provided were of the highest quality and meant that our finished work really reflected the photographs they were portraying. The venue was lovely; bright and airy with good facilities and in a quiet, peacefull and accessible location. Last but not least, our tutor, Bridget, was first class! She not only taught us how to make felt pictures but also shared her knowledge, skills, tecniques and tips in a very empowering manner. I Loved the whole experience and would count it as one of the best £110 I've ever spent!! Thank you Bridget xx"

"This was a return visit as I have found them so enjoyable. Very small classes so plenty of individual attention. Other students all seem to have en interest in art and textiles and it always becomes a very friendly and informative group. The amount of tips and expertise that Bridget imparts is amazing and a lot of practical help is given so that no one is left struggling no matter how limited their experience. I can thoroughly recommend it"

"I had so much fun on this course and would highly recommend it to anyone! The location is gorgeous and serene, perfect for the activity. Camped nearby and made a weekend of it and the camping and pub were also great. I had a small amount of experience doing wet felting and felt pictures before but didn't fully appreciate until this course how much goes into creating this art. Calling it a Masterclass is definitely appropriate! Not only do you make your own beautiful piece over the weekend, but Bridget is so generous sharing her knowledge and techniques that I'm confident anyone - brand new or experienced - would learn a lot."

"It's a long time since I enjoyed a day as much as the Bridget's felt making workshop. She is a great host and teacher. We had the lot - from individual guidance, to fascinating snippets about the history of felt making, to loads of information about how Bridget has developed her felt picture making skills - all to help us produce a felt picture we could be proud of. She created a warm, friendly atmosphere in which the 9 hours we spent working on our pictures flew by. I particularly welcomed her skill in analysing the photos and images we brought with us to base our felt pictures on. Her guidance enabled us build layers that would produce a good felted image. Inspirational - I've already booked on a two day masterclass and I'm looking forward to working on some small felt pictures at home."

"Despite this course being 9 hours long, the time just flew by and Bridget's enthusiasm for this medium was really catching. She put the same effort and enthusiasm into each candidates work, suggesting a modified approach where appropriate given the aspirations or limitations of each person (I have damaged fingers), leaving us all inspired. I left this course feeling as if I had really learned something and with a piece of work which - although not quite finished and far from perfect - I was really quite proud of. I can't wait to try another picture at home."
