"I bought this course for my Mum for a birthday gift, she said " I had a lovely day with Ruth, she was very Friendly, knowledgable and kind. I had a 1;1 session and thoroughly enjoyed the day, Ruth made me feel welcome and guided me through the process of creating a tiffany recreation, she even complimented my abilities and said I was a natural haha!. What a great way to spend a day and such a great gift. I highly recommend the course and would love to go again. Thank you Ruth" "

"Me and Dan had an absolutely fantastic time at the workshop, thank you so much Ruth! You were extremely patient, funny and made us feel very relaxed and welcome for the whole time we were there. We both learnt so much and are so pleased with the end result of our Tulips! We cannot stop talking about how much fun we had and how much of a lovely teacher you were! Highly recommend this course for anyone interested in stained glass and wanting to be taught by someone who is calm, informative and extremely talented! Thank you again :)"

"What an enjoyable day! So happy to have signed up for this 1:2:1 stained glass making workshop with Ruth Summers, in her perfect studio. Ruth let me do as much or as little as I wanted and I was relieved to have her take over on the really difficult bits, only when I asked! "I thoroughly enjoyed my first lesson with Ruth – the 3 hour taster 1-2-1 workshop. It was so interesting and such fun that time flew by. The session was very easy going and at each stage of the process everything was well explained and demonstrated. I learnt lots and had fun along the way. Ruth is patient and explains everything so well and gives you the confidence and encouragement to do well. Her pace is spot on and the facilities are excellent. I enjoyed the course so much I have booked my next session, a full day 1-2-1! I have sent her my next design so that Ruth can design and have the pattern ready and I’m look forward to creating my next challenge to see how far I can stretch myself and have fun and confidence along the way."

"Thank you so much Ruth for a perfectly relaxed 3 hour 1-1 glass art starter session that I purchased for my partner. He really enjoyed it, and was very impressed with the tulip you helped him to create which is now hanging on our tree. I also enjoyed sitting in your garden (having a little peak occasionally!) and kept company by your lovely dogs Luna and Willow - particularly little, lively Luna! Thank you also for the regular offer of drinks which was very much appreciated. The whole 3 hours was neither rushed or stressful - you are a lovely person to be taught by. Having already purchased a starter kit, Martyn is now thinking about his next project! Thank you once again, Diane and Martyn x"

"I had a lovely afternoon at this workshop, and learnt loads from Ruth, who was very patient and encouraging and good fun too! The whole process is really interesting and absorbing, and I would recommend to anyone to have a go. I appreciated Ruth putting so much effort in, with planning my design beforehand and having the pattern all ready. I love what I made, and I'm keen to carry on and learn more and see what else I could create."

"I totally recommend this course as a wonderful way in which to explore using copper foil and creating a beautiful piece under the guidance of Ruth. From the start to finish of the day Ruth was patient, helpful and guided me through making a beautiful dragonfly. I was guided through the steps of cutting glass, to grinding, foiling and then soldering and found each process fascinating in its own right. Ruth was happy to help me solve any problems I encountered. It was a pleasure to spend the day in her workshop and even more so to go home with a beautiful piece of work to remind me of my day. As a result of the day and Ruth's encouragement got the 'bug' and will carry on learning more about the art of working with stained glass. Thank you Ruth for the best day I have had in a long time."
