Helenalilly reviewed: Quilting: Quilt-in-a-Day

"I thoroughly enjoyed making my quilt in a day. We were sent preparatory tasks vital to making the day a success. Follow what it states. I followed examples on an online format and I washed my squares. They shrunk which meant I had to cut extra pieces. The tuition was well delivered by a well experienced and versatile quilter. All the steps were fully explained with examples. A light lunch, tea, coffee and cake at breaks were included. The hall was very spacious and everyone had a table to themselves. Only issue is that there is no parking near the hall. The hall is behind the pub and up a short incline. The parking is in front of the pub. You need to move your sewing machine and equipments up and down a small hill."

Bee-spoke Quilts responded:

" Thank you for your feedback. I’m pleased that you enjoyed your day. Hopefully my new teaching venue will have level parking nearby! "

Sarah McAllister reviewed: Landscape quilts workshop

"I just loved this landscape quilting workshop. Learnt so much from Jacqueline who is so attentive and supportive throughout the day. She was so helpful with every element of the quilts we were creating. It was also very good to chat and swap notes with the other attendees. I’ll definitely be booking more of Jacqueline’s workshops - so relaxed and creative. Can’t wait for the next one."

Bee-spoke Quilts responded:

" Thank you for your kind comments Sarah. It was a pleasure teaching you and seeing the landscape quilts develop during the day. I look forward to seeing you again for another workshop. I did warn you that quilting is addictive! "

Maggie Felton reviewed: Quilting weekend for beginners and novices - Hay on Wye

"The two day quilting weekend was a perfect introduction for absolute beginners to the craft of machine quilt making. The five beginners and the two novice quilters formed a friendly and encouraging group whilst Jacqueline taught at a pace that was appropriate for everyone. Jacqueline is an excellent teacher giving helpful tips for us to use for future projects. My quilt needs finishing at home, and I have been taught the skills to confidently complete my work in my own time. Jacqueline provided refreshments and delicious lunches on both days and is a warm and welcoming teacher. I wholeheartedly recommend this weekend course as the perfect way to acquire a new skill. I will certainly be keen to return in the future to learn more techniques."

Bee-spoke Quilts responded:

" Thank you so much for your kind feedback. I am pleased that you enjoyed your weekend. I love to see how students projects develop during the workshop and I hope that you will find time to continue with this therapeutic craft."
