good tuition, good atmosphere
New skills/tools and a stunning setting.
Brian was absolutely brilliant. I could have listened to him for another 6 or 7 hours. Brian has a very warm and interesting presentation skill.
Learnt new interesting skills. Food was tasty!
Practical side to the bees was very interesting and not as alarming as anticipated. Classroom was very informative.
Great being able to have free reign on the style of our mosaics, and so many wonderful colours and types of glass to select from.
Whole thing was great. Final reveal was amazing
Brian was extremely knowledgeable and easy to listen too, and clearly enthusiastic about his subject. He made the theory part of the day as (if not more) fascinating as the practical element.
Very knowledgeable teacher, all valuable. Actually handling the bees was great, but the theory equally useful and interesting.
Loved the whole experience, food was excellent too.
Knowledgeable and informative presenter, relaxed style, excellent lunch.
Lovely tutor, nice size group, equipment ready for us.
Learning a new skill, well organised tutor, clear instructions
The best part was learning the building skills and helping to make a finished oven - the pizza lunch was pretty fantastic too.
Just a line to say what a great day I had on the blacksmith course last Sunday with Fraser, who made the day for me by being patient & informative.
I really had a lovely day trying stuff. The company, the format of the course, Ann's attitude and humour were all great.
The small group tuition was great. Ann was very friendly and it was definitely worth travelling from Manchester for this course.
The best part of the day:
Practicing first with willow then apple wood. Also the free knowledge given by the tutor.
The "Having a go" was great, but the tutor was brilliant in explaining all the techniques
Great tutor wonderful recipes, and lovely produce to take home.
