I cant recommend this course enough. I arrived cockily thinking I would recreate the bayeux tapestry- its only after trying it for a day you realise how talented she is! Its very tricky but jane eases you in gently, she gives you just the right amount of information for a beginner, so you can come away with something you are...

Learning to make a stool with your own hands, from selecting the timber to knocking in the last wedge is a hugely rewarding experience that leaves you with a beautiful and very comfortable piece of work at the end of the day! Eoin's tuition is first class and his appreciation of our native woodland inspiring. The landscaped courtyard you work...

I'm...

I spent a great day learning how to make a stool, using only hand tools. A canny instructor, great craic, and like minded folk made learning new skills a real pleasure. I have not stopped talking about the course since I got home.

I had minimal experience with woodwork having made some small wooden toys, but had never tried my hand at carving. The first thing to be said is how friendly...

The course was first class. A wonderful teacher full of knowledge but totally approachable, patient and kind. Fantastic materials supplied, a wonderful lunch laid out, fabulous company and best of all, lots of felt making which was decent enough to be framed for my lounge despite never doing it before.

I thought I must just write to you to say what a wonderful experience your Fascinator Workshop was for me. I should explain that I am the most unlikely of candidates to make anything - I am not what you would describe as a "craft person" but I so enjoyed your workshop and at the end of it I had...

Highly recommend this course to anyone no matter what their previous experiences are. Brilliant teacher, interesting to talk to, welcoming, and skilled at what he does. After spending two days with Simon, Ive started looking up plans to make my own pole lathe for the back garden, despite what my parents say, so that I can start some of my...
