"Absolutely brilliant course. Claire is an excellent tutor showing us all the basic skills and techniques needed to produce a large wet felted piece. All materials provided and examples of her own completed work for inspiration. Venue changed from the original one mentioned in the notes but it was an excellent facility and provided a great working space. I would recommend this course 100% for beginners and intermediate skills level. "

"Did the silver spinner ring course with my daughter in law. It was well worth the money and as it was just the two of us with Karen it felt like we got a lot of attention and advice as we made the rings. Karen was very patient and everything was well explained and it was easy to ask for clarification or help. Will be doing more of her courses in the future."

"A very useful morning (plus some of the afternoon!) in Catherine's studio. Catherine is very experienced and knowledgeable about stretch fabric and overlockers, which she shared with the small group. I had never used an overlocker before and am impressed with what it can do, if a little daunted by it all! However, Catherine has given me the confidence to persevere with my machine, which I may not have, had I not attended this workshop. Thank you."

Ian reviewed: One day MMA/MIG welding course

"A great day learning how to weld with both ARC and MIG processes. David was a great teacher and due to the small size group was able to provide lots of advice on where we were going wrong and how we could improve which greatly increased the quality of the welds. One note for any people attending the course is wear factor 50 around your neck if you have a long sleeved T-Shirt on as the UV from the welding made our necks very red (but not sore) and calmed down the next day. Just to say a great course and might come back for a one to one course to concentrate on the MIG welding so we can get on with putting an old and tired Mini back on the road. "

"Absolutely loved this course. Very relaxing environment but fun too and got to do everything from measuring out your wire to a complete ring including soldering with a blow torch! Rachel was a fabulous teacher and very patient explaining how to do everything. We had a choice of which rings we wanted to make and all involved different techniques. I am now proudly wearing my stacking rings and definitely would like to do an another course, maybe the bracelets. Highly recommended"

Her teaching style is of course to teach techniques but it’s more than that. She teaches you to let go of fear and ‘go with the flow’. Above all she is an amazing facilitator who stimulates your own creativity in a lovely holistic way - such a welcoming, relaxing and safe atmosphere where your confidence is boosted so genuinely. The venue itself is beautifully chosen and definitely enhanced the experience as did the other lovely people on the course. The amount and variety of resources Emma provides are also a heady mix of inspiration too. These were my first footsteps into mosaic making and I have been fired up to choose this as my main creative outlet as a result of coming on this fabulous course.
